Things got pretty ugly on the get go. Aahil is pacing his room, and Sanam innocently walks in and nags him about getting ready.
He attacks first, aiming for blood. What about you? Did time fly as you were chit-chatting with Rehan?
"What did you just say? " Sanam grabs him by the arms and takes him to task for questioning her character again and again. "You understand this, you can't simply accuse me of shameless behaviour like this!!"
Aahil's face twists in fury. "You can do shameless things, and I can't even say anything about it ???! "
<Oh God. They are sparring with harsh words and manners. It's like watching a house burn down in mere minutes...Razed.>
"Do you realize what you are accusing me of? Do you know that to a girl there is nothing more precious than her honour and self respect? You can't keep accusing me of horrible things like this??"
<Wait a minute Sanam, he was only asking why it was so necessary to have a long conversation with Rehan about your happiness... Why the over reaction??>
Aahil was about so say something mean about her izzat not deserving respect... and he stopped himself.
But Sanam rises in great fury.
" I am so shocked, at myself.That i had hopes that you were a man who thought and spoke well of me..."
"If I'm so horrible, you don't have to stay with me. I'll do just fine without you...!!!"
<Hold it guys !! HHEEEYYY!! Cool it !! OVERREACTION!!! Staaahppp!>
"Even I have no need for you..." Sanam cries, tears falling down her face unchecked, her pain and hurt obvious to all but Aahil.
"Fine!! If we don't need each other, then we don't need the things we gave each other either!!" He flings the tux she gave him on the bed, degrading it.
Sanam retaliates by flinging all his ehsaan gifts, the dresses, as he watches in horror, and stops her from discarding the last one, a deep red colored one.
<Umm, Aahil ... if you can throw a tantrum, she can throw one just as big. You should know that by now... just saying...tit for tat, heard of that?>
" I don't need any good turn from you either !! If I do need anything, I WANT MY FREEDOM FROM THIS FAKE MARRIAGE !!! There's no one who'd be happier than me when this fake marriage is over !!!"
Aahil's heart breaks, he is devastated by her words. "I know that..." he whispers and he leaves...
<Oh God... why do they fight so horribly !!! Two and a half minutes and all the fragile sparkly webs have been torn to shreds>
Wedding preparations are under way for Haya, and Sanam gets the bride ready. Rahat mopes about in a long face lamenting his bad luck and broken heart.
Tanveer wanders about the house looking for Dilshaad...
I must say that scene where Haya peeks from under her gunghat at her groom and not lifting her head to look properly at his face was laughable. Never has shyness been more tragic...
The bride and groom are seated at the dais and Khazi wants to start. But Rahat stalls, wanting to wait for Aahil. Sanam gulps uncomfortably, and thinks up an excuse for Aahil's absence, assuming that he wasn't coming after all.
But then he arrives, gorgeous as ever, in the tux she gave him. He looks at her, silently appreciating her in the red dress he gave her. And a hint of a smile is in her eyes as he walks in with gifts. He apologizes to Haya in a very brotherly way, blesses her a very happy marriage. He was super adorable, really!
This wedding was atrocious, really. The bride can't hear or speak. Neither does she hear the Khazi's words, nor does she speak the words Qubool Hai. The one important sense she has, her sight, is woefully blinded by shyness, her stupid wedding attire, and her insensitive family. Sorry, I'm quite disgusted by the horrible treatment of the solemnization of marriage ceremony. Nothing like this will ever happen in real life. Bleargh.🤢
The she opens her gunghat and sees her groom, shocked that it is Faiz. Whatever. We saw this coming, hoped it wouldn't be this stupid. But here it is, as stupid as we thought it would be. Yuck.
Precap: Tanveer leaves Dilshaad's room as she wakes, a gas cannister fills the room with gas and Dilshaad chokes.
Rahat looks like he's leaving for the army again. And Haya cries to him that she thought he was her groom...
