I'm not sure, but this just floated in my head. Think of Zoya/Asad/Tanu.. that horrible scene that separated them temporarily. YUCK
Anyway... as posted in some of your posts, I think with Aahil seeing Seher, thinks it's Sanam dressing up in western clothes to please him trying to be like other girls. Seher probably starts flirting with him realizing he is the man of the house. She wants to enjoy the riches.
In Aahil's mind, Sanam is just thanking him for everything but doing it in the way his old gfs would have done it. He probably gets upset and sends her away saying he does not want her like this... or something causes Seher to leave.
Later on, SAHIL are in their room Aahil tells Sanam that he does not want her to change just for him. He wants her just the way she is. She is different and he likes her uniqueness. That's why he chose her. SAHIL become closer.
Next day they attend the wedding. Somewhere along the lines, I think Seher will come back either at the wedding or the night after the wedding and lounge half naked on the bed waiting for Aahil. He walks in and sees her. She probably does not have on as much make up as now and looks more like Sanam. She continues to flirt with him telling him she has realised that he is the man she has been looking for. She also probably offers him something to drink and drugs it.
He drinks and becomes out of it. They end up in bed, but still have "some " clothing on. Sanam does not realise what is going on in the room and walks in saying something to Aahil. She sees Aahil and a woman under the sheets and becomes distraught. Aahil hears Sanam's voice and looks up to see her standing there devastated. Seher 's face eventually is shown and Aahil jumps up in shock. Both he and Sanam stand there looking at Seher. Somewhere along the lines Sanam reprimands Aahil for not realising it was not her.
We get a brief separation as Aahil realises his mistake blaming himself.
