Aahil had seen them in the hall. What on earth had he possibly told her for her to flash her dazzling smile at him and clasp his hands like that! She looked happy and excited. Rehan had such a strong effect on her that it took her so long to realize that her husband was standing there watching them. Yet he saw no guilt or remorse in her eyes. She just looked surprised. What had she expected! She would go around holding hands with her lover, letting him wipe her tears and tell her jokes that would make her laugh like there was never a joke funnier and he would just turn a blind eye on it. He was her husband! Aahil had balled his hands into fists and walked away before he could act out on his strongest instinct to grab his younger bro and beat him black and blue. Tell him to back off from her! But where was Rehan's fault in this when she herself had given him permission and denied Aahil. She claimed to be his wife but when it came him being her husband she denied him! Him! Aahil Raza Ibrahim! As he walked away the anger had somehow been replaced with hurt. He had felt a strange emptiness on the inside. He could not bring a smile to her face. He could not share her pain or wipe her tears. On the contrary, every time they spoke... She left in tears. The entire day had gone by like a blur with Aahil waiting for her to return. The throbbing headache and clenching inside of his heart would not stop. The heartache felt too strong to bear. How long was she going to keep this up? How long would he be tortured like this? Aahil wanted to be free from this pain which remained with and without her presence. He grew impatient as the sun went down. Where had they gone? The second she walked in he cornered her. Aahil pinned her against the door against all reason and looked at her. She looked shocked and then tried to intimidate him by giving him an angry look. But instead what he saw mesmerized him. Her deep black eyes, the slight pursing of her lips, her pinched eyebrows... Aahil soon became aware of the fact that she was breathing heavy and a slight blush had appeared on her cheeks. Forgetting his surroundings, he leaned in closer until he saw that she closed her eyes. Oh hell he knew it wasn't in anticipation! She wanted to imagine someone else in place of him! Aahil seethed inwardly. He gathered his scattered thoughts and placed a small distance between them.
"Kahan gayi thi tum? Rehaan ke saath?" He asked, holding her in place with his piercing gaze.
She opened her eyes and the shock reflected in them. What had she expected? That he would not ask her and let her continue roaming around with her lover. Even the thought felt painful to Aahil. The fact that her body tensed up made it clear that she understood the extent of his anger. In fact it wasn't just anger but an uncontrollable rage that took over when he recalled all her moments with Rehan that he had witnessed. He grabbed her forearm with more pressure than he wanted to but he couldn't stop himself. She winced but he didn't let go. He wanted her to feel the same pain that was ripping his insides. It was pure torture to wait for her response.
Sanam could not believe it. This is why she did not want to run into him. This man never cared about others' feelings, especially hers.
"Aapko kya farak padta hain Aahil! Ki main kahan jaa rahe hoon, kyun jaa rahe hoon, aur kiske saath jaa rahe hoon? Main hui kaun aapki?!!"
Sanam let out all her pent up anger. She was just sick of it. The disappointment of not finding out anything about her parents mixed with the pain he was inflicting on her arm and the anger over his accusation made her want to scream. How could he speak to her like that without knowing what she was going through? Why was he acting as if her going somewhere with Rehan made a difference! He was acting like a typical husband but who was the audience this time? Sanam clenched her teeth. But once she calmed her anger she looked into his eyes. Aahil's expression had changed. From anger to hurt? Disappointment? That was certainly not what she had expected. Sanam was a little taken aback. He had let go of her arm too. Sanam was surprised.
"Tum meri kaun ho? Haan yeh toh mera bhi sawwal hai ki tum meri kaun ho? Kabhi tum khud kehte ho ke tum meri biwi ho aur kabhi yeh kehti ho ke yeh sab ek natak hai! Toh aaj main bhi janna chahta hoon ki tum mere biwi ho ya nahi? Im sick of it Sanam! Agar yeh sab ek natak hai toh mujhse yeh drama aur bardasht nahi hota! Kabhi ammi ke kehne par, kabhi doston ke samne, kabhi samaj ke kiye... Iss sab mein hamare rishte ka wajood kya hai!"
(Who are you to me? Honestly thats my question as well. At times you claim to be my wife and during others say that its all a drama. So today even I want to know, are you my wife or not? I'm sick of it Sanam! If this is indeed a drama then I cant bear it anymore. Sometimes for ammi, in front of my friends, at other times for society... Where does our relationship stand in all of this?)
Sanam could see the pure frustration in his eyes. And honestly some of that frustration was building up inside her too.
"Aapka problem kya hain! Kabhi aap khud iss natak ko shuru karte hai aur ab aise bartaf kar rahe hai jaise ke yeh sab meri galti hai! Aapki problem kya hai aapko pata hai? Aap kabhi mujhe samaj hi nahi pate hai! Jab mein iss rishte ko nibhane ki koshish karti hoon toh aap ko yeh lagta hai ke mera koi galat irada ya koi maksad hai! Maine puri imandari aur wafa ke saath iss rishte ko nibhane ke koshish ki par aap har baar meri galti nikalte hai! Toh aap hi bataiye ke main kya karoon!
(Whats your problem? Sometimes you yourself start this drama and now your acting as if its all my fault! You know what your problem is? You never try to understand me! Whenever I try to fulfill this relationship, you believe that I have some wrong intention or an ulterior motive. I have tried with all honesty and loyalty to fulfill our relationship but each and every time you find a fault in me! So why don't you tell me... what should I do?)
Sanam felt tears stinging in her eyes. He was impossible!
"Rehan ke saath ghoomna, usse tumhe choone ka haq dena, uski har baat pe hasna, har ek baat par uske taraf dekhna jaise ki uski ijaazat ke bina tum kuch nahi kar sakti aur iss nikah ke baad bhi uske saath ek relationship continue karna... Isse tum rishta nibhana kehte ho!"
(Going out with Rehan, giving him the right to touch you, reacting at everything he says, at every little thing looking at him as if you cant do anything without his permission, and even after being married carrying forth your relationship with him... You call this fulfilling our relationship!)
His voice had gotten louder and he nearly screamed by the end. Aahil was shaking with anger and Sanam flinched at his accusation and his rage. But she felt disgusted! How could he misinterpret the pure and beautiful friendship she shared with Rehan. How could he malign her like this! How could someone think so dirty! How was this man her husband! The one who is suppose to love, respect and care for her during their entire lifetime! But how could she forget! He was the great Aahil Raza Ibrahim. Sanam felt her lips quiver. Her anger was now beyond her control too!
"Sanam tell me, how does it feel to have an affair and to hold your lover's hand in front of your husband! Wafa kya cheez hai tumhe pata bhi hai! Ya baas naam ka wafa hai duniya ko dekhne ke liye. Jaise ke yeh rishta...sirf ek dikhava! Pyaar toh tum usse karti ho lekin shaadi mujhse! Tumne hum dono ko dhoka diya hai! How low must a woman fall to---" that was the final nail in the coffin.
(Sanam tell me, how does it feel to have an affair and to hold your lover's hand in front of your husband! Fidelity, loyalty, faithfulness... Do you even know what that is? Or is it there just to show the world that everything is fine... Just like this relationship. You love him yet you married me. You have betrayed us both! How low must a woman fall to---)
She could not stop herself. Before her mind could think, before her heart could stop her, before he could say anything more disgusting... she stopped him.. Sanam felt her palm sting as it made contact with his cheek. He stood speechless.
"What do you know about me Mr. Aahil Raza Ibrahim! About my life, my pain, my past! Have you ever tried to find out! Don't you dare speak about my character and who I am without knowing anything! Aisa ghatiya soch aap ke dimaag mein aaya kaise? Rehan sirf mera dost hai! Aap yakeen kare ya na kare! But how could you accuse me like this! Do you know anything about me!"
Sanam looked at him bewildered, the pain she felt inside could not be expressed in words. He hurt her before. But this was unbearable. He had closed his eyes the very moment she slapped him. He sighed.
"I dont. But if you had known anything about me Sanam... You would not have raised your hand on me either. Your right we don't know anything about each other nor do we try to find out. Says a lot about our relationship," he responded bitterly.
His voice was laced with sarcasm and hurt as he blinked back angry tears. Her heart began to beat furiously as he stared at her. Sanam was shocked at his response. Without saying anything more, he wiped his eyes and walked away leaving her in the dark. Leaving her with so many questions that were unanswered. But one thing for sure... He was right. Had she ever tried to know anything about him? Was there more to Jallad Jin than what he shows?
The End!
This is it lol After watching so many Indian serials I know one thing for sure that this conversation probably might not clear up everything between Aahil and Sanam regarding Rehan but it will most likely open them up to questions they had not really thought about earlier and where their relationship stands. I could be wrong since the show is well paced so far. But I left it at this because I feel this is how the scene might end. With one walking away and the other left with questions. I really hope next week shows some progress in their relationship! Also Im not Indian so plz forgive me if my Hindi is a bit off lol Hope you guys enjoyed reading! Plz leave comments below :) :) :) Also Im not a big fan of slapping... Even when girls do it to guys (unless its for extreme self defense... Obvious cases like shoaib haya) I am against it. But I showed it here because Sanam has done it before but that time they were strangers but now she is someone he loves and trusts on the inside. Its would leave a much deeper impact. It would hurt. But yes otherwise I would not have included that lol anyway hope u guys enjoyed reading!
