2) yes. But I think his reaction is not just about himself but rather also because he sees how complicated and messy it can get for all involved. To me he still seems to look at his mother with an expression like, I-can't-believe-how-far-you-can-go. He seems to be just overwhelmed and helpless by it all.

Rehan looked away whenever Aahil gazed at Sanam (and Sanam was gazing back). Either jealousy/hurt, or a reflexive action of not wanting to intrude can be up for debate.

I don't think his hate will fly out the window. He will truly realise why Sanam married him and he may be a bit softer, but he might think why didn't she just ask him?

@bold definitely !! Sanam has been accepting her role as wife very politely. She isn't petulant and snipey, she cleans after him, cooks and serves the family, takes care of his Ammi.

She bakes him a cake for his birthday; very sweet gesture as she might've thought he might be just as miserable being forced to marry too. A gesture of truce on her part that he misconstrued as manipulative. Still, she keep strying to indicate that she means no harm, is willing to put up with the act so she can leave with her conscience intact.

But Aahil needs to know why she married him, what Tanveer asked of her.

Biggest question is this : Why doesn't it hurt Aahil when his harsh words cut at Sanam?

I think right now he is infatuated with her. It's not a deep love yet. If not, he couldn't bear to see her hurt, let alone hurt her himself. He wouldn't let her sleep without blankets. He wouldn't let anyone speak disrespectfully of her. He would strangle any other man who would DARE make puppy eyes at her.

I think Aahil is a posessive sort of a lover. I can't wait to see his selfishness change into a selfless caring kinda love.
