It's like watching 3 people trying to piece together a jigsaw puzzle. Each holding a piece of the puzzle and hiding it from the other, complicating things.
Aahil loves Sanam. Aahil knows Rehan loves Sanam. Aahil thinks Sanam loves Rehan and not him. He thinks Sanam married him for his money.
Rehan loves Sanam. Rehan thinks Aahil detests Sanam, and is all out to torture her (true in a way...).He thinks Sanam hates Aahil (looks like it right now). He knows Sanam was coerced by his mother to marry Aahil as a repayment for her Badi Ammi's hospital bills, bound for 3 months. I hate it that Tanveer gave him false hope like that. He even changes his mind about leaving.
Sanam knows nothing... Poor girl doesn't even know that these two men love her to the point of distraction. She just wants her Badi Ammi back. She thinks Aahil hates her and Rehan is her friend.
Aahil loves Sanam a lot. He's never loved a woman like this before, the emotions make him selfish and petulant. His concern is his feelings only, not hers. He's angry that she doesn't love him back. Just the fact that he loves her, is reason enough for her to accept him. Nevermind that he was abominably horrible to her before, nevermind that he never defended or shielded her from being humiliated by his family.
For Aahil, that vow he gave Sanam, that he would never leave her, was tantamount to a commitment. That vow that Sanam doesn't remember.
He doesn't think that she needs any reassurance or words of commitment from him, however unromantic. He loves her, she should know it, and love him back.Brat!
They fight passionately. He grabs her and demands her reason for agreeing to this marriage. Do you love me back, he wants to ask. When she is silent, her furiously direct stare into his eyes unnerves him. But he is too self absorbed to wonder why she is so tortured.
She rightfully calls him out for his selfishness. Everything is about YOU!! No one else has a reason or a point of view! Do you even know what I'm going through here !' She is furious that he accuses her of entering this marriage for wealth. WHY in the world didn't you tell him Sanam !! WHy seethe away and swallow your words!
Sanam lashes out, You did all this for money too, hypocrite! And Aahil almost spills out his feelings. NO! I did it because I-' and stops himself.
Then he wonders aloud how are they to share their lives, this room, this bed. Huh! What-!? Are you kidding me Aahil!? How about no! SOrt out your nonsense first... He pushes her out of the room and shuts the door in her face.
Suddenly it's Ramadhan on QH, just in time for Eid party next week! Wow! *facepalm*
How awkward was that sehri ?!
Aahil refuses to be served by Sanam, while Rehan watches sympathetically. He has lost the right to speak up for her, as she is now married. Tanveer playacts the perfect saas and Sanam serves everyone. SHe and Rehan exchange a look: Sanam pleading for help and Rehan's filled with sadness.
Of course Aahil sees all this and misunderstands. Argh!
This is getting too painful.
That precap: I was so excited that there's going to be some paybacks for Tanveer. The man foretelling her downfall was downright spooky!!
