Hey friends!! 😃 So here I am with an update for this FF after a long time and there is romance and fun in this and hope you all love it. Enjoy reading!! 😊

Part 38:

All the friends were busy with their respective duties in the hospital while Asad came to Ayaan who was at the general ward.

"Dude, aren't we supposed to rehearse for the fest?? Do you remember its happening tomorrow??" asked Asad.

"Of course Asad, I do. But what to do, we have to get done with these duties right" said Ayaan as he continued checking the BP of his patient.

"Well, start wrapping up all your duties by noon. I have asked others to do the same. And then we all will go to college for rehearsals, fine??" asked Asad.

"Alright dude. Cool!" said Ayaan as they gave a hi-five to each other and Asad left.

Just then Ayaan saw Farhaan coming in.

"Hey Farhaan!!' called out Ayaan, but Farhaan walked off without responding to him.

Ayaan was looking puzzled, and called out again, "Farhaan...heyy!!"

Ayaan went back of Farhaan and caught him by the hand and Farhaan stopped looking at Ayaan.

"Ayaan??" asked Farhaan with a confused expression coming back to normal.

"I am calling you so loudly and you are just walking off?? Where are you so lost??" asked Ayaan.

"No no. Nothing like that Ayaan. Just..."said Farhaan as he looked down pressing his temples.

"Are you okay??" asked Ayaan keeping his hand on Farhaan's shoulder.

"Nothing...just a bit unwell" said Farhaan and added, "By the way, I am leaving home after duty."

"Leaving home??" asked Ayaan, "But we have planned to go to college for rehearsals dude...college fest..."

But Farhaan interrupted him saying, "I am not anyways interested in participating in the fest. So, its better I leave home and take rest."

Saying so, Farhaan walked off from there and Ayaan looked on at him.

"What is bothering Farhaan for a few days??" asked Ayaan to himself, "Why do I feel he is hiding some sorrow to himself and acting normal to all?"

In some time, as everyone got done with their duties they all met at the rehearsal hall for practicing for their fest the next day.

Imraan was segregating everyone's songs for which they were about to perform the next day, and Tanveer was sitting with him, helping him out.

"Where is Farhaan?" asked Humeira looking around and Nikhat looked at her hearing it and noticed that Farhaan was not there.

"He said he is unwell and went home" said Ayaan striking his guitar chords and rehearsing, while Nikhat was making circles in the table she was sitting at, and understood that she was the reason for the gloominess prevailing in Farhaan's life these days and got up from there thinking something and walked out.

"Okay guys!!" said Imraan coming in the front, "Who is going to do their practice first?? Asad..."

While taking Asad's name, Imraan noticed that Asad and Zoya were not there in the hall.

"Ayaan, where is Asad??" asked Imraan and Ayaan looked around at Imraan's question.

"Exactly, where is he??" asked Ayaan keeping his guitar aside, "He only said us to meet here for rehearsals and he is only not here."

"And even Zoya is not here" said Humeira.

"Hmmm...I think I know what these two are up to!" said Tanveer with a smiling face and asked everyone to follow her and all of them went back of her.

They reached the recreation hall and Tanveer slowly opened the door and they all started giggling at each other looking at the sight. They found Asad talking to Zoya lying down in her lap and playing with her fingers, while Zoya was caressing his forehead.

"By the way Asad" said Zoya caressing his hair, "You asked everyone to meet at the rehearsal hall for practice and we both are here. Won't they search us??"

"Honey, I know they all will go on time to the rehearsal hall and start their practice. And eventually they will become busy and all have other work too besides it" said Asad while others were listening to it hiding behind the door.

"What work??" asked Zoya.

"Imraan will be busy checking out Tanveer and Tanveer will be busy nagging around everyone and create headache to all" said Ayaan and Tanveer opened her mouth wide hearing it while Imraan laughed hearing it and controlled it when Tanveer stared at him. Ayaan and Humeira were laughing too.

"And Ayaan, he will make everyone's ear bleed with this Mozart music and Humeira will try to match her Shreya Ghoshal voice to that unbearable sound" said Asad and Zoya laughed hearing it. Ayaan stared at him, while Tanveer started mocking Ayaan this time.

"So, in this mess will anyone even bother about us?? That's why I sent them over there so that I can have some good quality time with my jaan" said Asad bringing Zoya's head closer to his for a kiss, when Ayaan threw his music book at Asad's face. Asad removed the book and saw everyone at the door and sprang up from Zoya's lap and Zoya too got up moving her hair to the side of her ear.

"Ears will bleed listening to my unbearable music sound?? Really?" asked Ayaan picking up the hockey stick from the side and walked to Asad.

"Dude...well...I was just joking..."said Asad moving back from Ayaan and dashed on Tanveer who was standing behind.

"I keep nagging around haan?? How dare you??" asked Tanveer as she hit Asad with her hand.

The friends started rounding up Asad and started to hit Asad, while Zoya was laughing standing at the corner.

"Zoya!!!" screamed Asad as he was getting beaten up, "Save me darling!!!"

Zoya went to Asad and started defending him, while the friends got tired beating Asad and looked at Asad and Zoya heaving and panting. Soon they all started laughing at each other and all of them hugged Asad and Zoya and shared a happy moment.

They were back the rehearsal hall and Imraan had the CD cases in his hand.

"Okay!!" said Imraan and looked at them, "So, who is going to rehearse first??"

"Imraan, wait!!" said Ayaan as he looked around, "Where is Nikhat? She was sitting here right? Even her bag is not here."

Everyone just then noticed that Nikhat was missing from the place.

"Where did she go??" asked Tanveer and took her mobile, "You guys start with the rehearsal. I shall call her and ask where she is."

Tanveer walked out to call up Nikhat and dialed her number. The ring just went and the call got cut in some time.

"No response??" asked Tanveer looking at the phone and wondered.

Meanwhile Nikhat had reached home and parked her scooty aside and went to the boys side of the home and looked out for Farhaan.

"Where is Farhaan?? His bike is out, but he is not here??" asked Nikhat to herself and went inside the guys' room and Farhaan wasn't there too.

Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder and she turned abruptly and saw Farhaan standing at the back.

"Ohh...Farhaan...well...where were you??" asked Nikhat in a stammering tone.

"I was in the washroom. Just went to wash my face. What happened...any problem??" asked Farhaan.

"Well...nothing...I just wanted to talk to you something...shall we go for a coffee??" asked Nikhat.

"Uhhh...well..." stammered Farhaan looking aside as he took his watch from the side drawer of his bed, "I am not feeling that fine to roam out today. Sorry!!"

Farhaan just went through his books, while Nikhat was still standing at the back thinking about something and Farhaan was noticing it silently.

"Then...it's fine if you can't come out. How about talking at the lake outside??" asked Nikhat.

"Well...sorry Nikhat...I have some things to do...have to finish off my duty log...and I am busy the whole day today...we shall try speaking tomorrow" said Farhaan as he walked past Nikhat and Nikhat was standing there disappointed.

Meanwhile back at the college, Imraan opened the CD case and took out the first CD. It read "Asad-Zoya".

"Okay!! This is your CD Asad" said Imraan and inserted the CD in the music player.

Asad looked at Zoya and extended his hand, "Ready for dancing with me babe??"

Zoya blushed hearing it and asked, "Well, can you dance so well like me?? I need a very good chemistry!!"

"Chemistry??" asked Asad smiling, "Today you will get to know..." saying so Asad pulled Zoya by her hand and caught her by the waist as her arms held Asad's shoulders, "...what real chemistry is!!"

Asad signaled Imraan to play the song and Katra Katra' played in the music player and switched on the fan for the dance effect.

"Woww!!!" exclaimed Ayaan, "This is such a sensuous song. Whose selection is this??"

Zoya smiled at Asad and said to Ayaan, "Which other song other than this can spark Asad's chemistry with me??"

As the song started playing, Zoya hugged Asad from the back and started singing her lines and Asad started dancing sensuously with Zoya as his lines came and both of them felt each and every line of the song and their chemistry and intensity set the rehearsal hall in fire. They both did all the romantic moves possible with Asad taking Zoya in his arms and Imraan, Tanveer, Ayaan and Humeira were just lost in the passion of their dance.

They ended the dance with Asad hugging Zoya from the back and their faces caressing with each other, while Zoya's hand caressed Asad's face.

The song got over and Asad and Zoya were still lost in each other. Imraan and others stood up and gave a loud round of applause, and Asad and Zoya opened their eyes hearing it. Asad released his hold from Zoya and they moved apart a bit and gave shy embarrassing looks at all.

"What was this!!!!" exclaimed Ayaan, "Was this dance???" Dude...you guys will set the stage on fire!!!"

"I swear!!!" exclaimed Tanveer, "I guess only your both performance is enough for our college fest. This is simply breathtaking!!!"

Asad and Zoya just exchanged shy smiles at each other hearing it.

"It's breathtaking because they exhibited their real feelings for each other through this dance!!"

Hearing Dilshaad's voice, everyone turned back and found Dilshaad standing with Rashid at the entrance smiling at all.

"Aunty..." said Zoya in a low tone and bit her lips as she was embarrassed that they were seeing this performance too.

Rashid and Dilshaad walked to Asad and Zoya.

"I am really happy to see this love and affection among you both" said Dilshaad smiling at them both, "I just wish nothing comes in between this love of yours and you both stay together like this always!!

Just then Asad's phone rang, and Asad excused everyone and took out his mobile and looked at it and smiled.

"It's uncle!!" said Asad in a happy tone, as he went out to attend to the call.

"So, what are you guys going to perform for?" asked Rashid sitting at the chair nearby.

"I am eagerly waiting for Ayaan's song!!" said Dilshaad and Ayaan smiled in glee and sat near Dilshaad.

"Really Ma'am??" asked Ayaan happily and looked at others, "See, my fan!! She has the perfect music taste!!!"

Imraan and Tanveer mocked at Ayaan, while all of them continued their chit chatting.

"I didn't expect your call only uncle!! How are you??" asked Asad on phone standing at the corridor.

"I am very much fine Asad" replied Kabir, Asad's uncle from US, "I don't know why, I just felt like talking to you. How are things going with you beta??"

"Everything is fine with me uncle. After all Zoya's mum has accepted me, what else do I need to worry about now??" said Asad happily.

"Of course, I can sense that happiness in your voice Asad. You have a good heart and everything has to turn out good for you. By the way, when are you introducing me to my daughter-in-law??" asked Kabir.

"Sure I will introduce her to you soon uncle. Well..." said Asad thinking, "Uncle, why don't you come for a video chat with me tonight?? I shall introduce Zoya to you as well. Even she is eager to talk to you."

"Okay!!" said Kabir, "Good idea. We shall talk tonight then."

All the friends reached home late at night after their hectic rehearsals and went to their respective rooms to sleep and Nikhat went for a stroll near the lake. Just then she stopped looking at Farhaan at the lake side throwing pebbles into the lake.

Farhaan was lost in thoughts throwing pebbles in the lake, while he stopped at a shadow approaching him and looked up to find Nikhat standing there with folded hands. He stood up and looked at her.

"Very busy whole day...really??" asked Nikhat in a sarcastic tone while Farhaan just looked at her.

Asad was nibbling something in his laptop sitting at the study and Zoya was sitting near him with her face rested in her palm.

"What are you doing Asad?? More how much time should I stay up?? I am feeling sleepy??" said Zoya yawning.

"Wait sweetheart, I am done. 5 minutes!!" said Asad as he continued his work in laptop.

After some time, Asad looked at Zoya, "Yes Zoya, come and sit near me now."

Zoya moved her chair near Asad and sat near him, looking at the laptop screen. She saw that Asad had opened a video chat and there was someone on the screen. The person at the screen too looked at Zoya without speaking anything. They both just kept looking at each other without uttering a word for a minute.

"Hello???" asked Asad waving his hand in between their line of sight and they both looked at Asad.

"What happened?? You both are staring at each other as if you both are seeing each other after decades" said Asad and looked at the screen and put his hand over Zoya, "Zoya, this is my uncle from US who you wanted to meet since long, Kabir!! And uncle, this is my love of life, Zoya!!"

"Ohh!!! Hi Uncle!!!" exclaimed Zoya as she continued, "Uncle, you have no idea how much I was dying to see you and talk to you!!"

"Same here Zoya!" said Kabir looking at her, "From the way Asad describes about you, I always wanted to know who is that girl who has brought this much happiness in my son's life. And I am glad I saw you today."

"No uncle' said Zoya, "I must tell that you that. I fell for Asad and am a slave for his love today only because of the way he is today. And the sole credit for that goes to you, for bringing up Asad in such a way and making me the lucky person to be Asad's love. Thank you so much uncle!!"

They continued talking to each other about Asad and got attached with each other so quickly while Asad was surprised seeing that, as he knew that his uncle never speaks this free with any new people, that too on the first meet itself. But he was feeling happy on the fact that Zoya is liked by his uncle too, as much as him.

"Well..." said Kabir, "I don't know why...I feel I know you since a long time. Or I have seen you before!!"

"Really??" asked Zoya, "But I came to India only a year back uncle. I just came for my studies only here. How could you know me?"

"I don't know why...your face seems so familiar for me!!" said Kabir looking at Zoya, "Well, what is your mum's name?? There are chances I might know her, as I heard she is a doctor too."

"Asad, these much days you have spoken about my mum to your uncle and you haven't said her name to him yet??" asked Zoya to Asad with an amused face, "Yes uncle, she is a cardiologist and her name is Za..." and Asad interrupted, "Okay!!! You people don't seem to stop talking. I need to ask my uncle one question, shall I darling??"

Zoya moved back with an angry puppy face while Asad smiled at her and looked at the screen, "Uncle, you didn't tell me how is my choice only, how do you find Zoya?"

"Do I need to tell specifically Asad?? I always know your choice can never go wrong and you proved it!!" said Kabir, while Asad and Zoya smiled at each other.

"Thank you uncle!!" said Zoya smiling and asked him, "When will you be coming to India, uncle??"

"Your mum has said that she will come there after your course gets over to conduct your marriage right?? I too shall be there at that time" said Kabir.

"Alright uncle" said Asad and looked at his watch, "Well...it's too late here and we have our college fest tomorrow. So, we need to go to sleep now uncle."

"Okay Asad" said Kabir, "It was so nice talking to you and especially to you, Zoya!"

Zoya smiled hearing it and said, "Same here uncle. I am so happy that I spoke with you today and now I am waiting for the day to meet you in person!!"

"Sure. That day is not far" said Asad. They finally said there bye and Asad signed out of the chat.

Kabir too closed the laptop and was just recalling his time spent with Zoya. He got up and walked to his cupboard, took out a frame and looked at it.

"Had it not been for those bitter incidents which took place in our life, I would have been living with you and my daughter now" said Kabir looking at the frame, "And maybe by now, even my daughter would be exactly like Zoya!!"

Precap: Farhaan holds Nikhat by her hands tightly and asks her in tears as in why she is hurting herself and him too by hiding the fact that she too loves him and Nikhat just tries to let go from his hold holding back her tears and Tanveer watches this from a distance. The college fest takes place in a tremendous way with Asad and Zoya winning the entertainer of the event award. Dilshaad and Rashid announce to the group that they both will get married the next day after Asad and Zoya's marriage.
