Nikhat was still standing with a puzzled face listening to Farhaan's sudden proposal.

"Farhaan, well...I least expected this" said Nikhat with a confused face.

"I can understand Nikhat, but you can think about..." said Farhaan, while Nikhat interrupted him.

"Farhaan, before you say further, let me clear something to you" said Nikhat while Farhaan looked at her puzzled, "Love and all these things are way far from my life now. And I don't want to invite it back to my life again."

Farhaan had a disappointment hearing it and Nikhat turned away from him.

"Out of everyone over here, you know more about me. I guess you will understand my mental plight and...try to move on without growing up more desires in your heart" said Nikhat, hurting Farhaan deep inside his heart.

"But..." said Farhaan clearing his throat, "But it doesn't mean you will live your entire life like this right??"

"No Farhaan. My decision is final" said Nikhat, "Please erase the love feelings you have towards me and try to move on. You are a good friend of mine and I don't want you to see you in pain because of these feelings towards me. I am sorry!!"

Saying so, Nikhat walked off, while Farhaan looked at her walking off with a teary eyed face and took out the "I love you" card from his jacket, which he had thought to give her once she accepts his proposal. He tore it and threw it in the ground and walked off, while Nikhat saw him from a distance and stood in tears.

It was next day and Dr. Rashid had just then assigned duties to all and the friends got back of Dr. Rashid letting him know of their request to make him act as Armaan's father.

"Nooo!!! Never!!!" said Rashid as he walked through the corridor. Asad. Zoya and the other friends walked back of him pleading.

"Sir, it's just a matter of a phone call. Maybe for 5-10 minutes" said Asad.

"And after that you need not do any such drama Sir, please!!" pleaded Zoya.

Rashid stopped and looked at Asad and Zoya.

"Look here" said Rashid, "I have been doing these tantrums since your heart attack drama. Fake ECG report, mortuary drama and acting as Armaan's father...this is heights now!! Sorry!!"

"Sir, if you think your performances are not getting any credit, don't worry. We will get you nominated for critics awards!!" said Ayaan and Rashid stared at him, while others started giggling hearing it.

"Sir, you are our only hope. Please Sir!!" said Imraan.

"Listen, today I am speaking as his dad. Tomorrow if she tells, she wants to meet me, what should I do??" asked Rashid.

"We will send you in disguise. Don't worry Sir, Nikhat will do the makeup for you" said Imraan, while Nikhat just gave a faint smile at him, as she was disturbed at the fact that Farhaan had not come to hospital yet.

"Disguise??? What is going on here??" asked Rashid.

"Sir, you are the only hope for Asad and Zoya right?? Please!!" requested Humeira.

"We will make sure situations don't go worse after this. We assure you!!" assured Tanveer.

"Listen guys" said Rashid looking at them, "You know I really don't bother helping you guys out. But this is well...I am sorry guys!! Hope you understand!!"

Saying so, Rashid went while Asad, Zoya and all other were standing there with helpless faces.

"He didn't agree???" asked Dilshaad who was in her office, while Asad and Zoya were sitting opposite her with a sad face.

"I said you Rashid won't do such things. You were so confident about this" said Dilshaad to Asad.

"Ma'am, even now it will work out" said Asad, "If you enter the game!!"

Dr. Rashid was working in his cabin, when Dr. Dilshaad entered inside.

"Rashid, are you free???" asked Dilshaad, while Rashid closed his file.

"Yes, sit down Dilshaad" said Rashid while Dilshaad sat down facing him.

"What happened Dilshaad?? Anything important??" asked Rashid.

"Yes, it's an emergency!!" said Dilshaad.

"Emergency?? Any serious case??" asked Rashid.

"Yes!!" said Dilshaad and stood up, "It's an emergency for Asad and Zoya."

Rashid stood up hearing that and he understood what Dilshaad was about to say.

Meanwhile, Ayaan was in the lab looking at his patient details, when Farhaan came there.

"Heyy dude!!" said Ayaan, "Where were you early morning?? You didn't appear here during duty assignment too. What's the matter??"

"Nothing dude. Some personal work popped up. I had informed Dr. Rashid" said Farhaan while Tanveer and Nikhat came in.

"Ayaan, got the blood report of that ICU patient??" asked Tanveer, while Nikhat looked at Farhaan who gave a faint smile at her.

"Yes and I am going through that before reporting to Dr. Mehta. Come!!" said Ayaan and Tanveer went with him, while Nikhat was standing there looking at the files nearby and Farhaan was taking the medicine for an injection.

"Farhaan!" called out Nikhat.

"Yes Nikhat" said Farhaan still looking at the medicine.

"How are you??" asked Nikhat.

"Fine" said Farhaan after some seconds and turned at her, "Got some work. Excuse me Nikhat!!"

Saying so, Farhaan left the lab, while Nikhat looked at him with a sad face.

"I am sorry Farhaan!! But I find this as the right decision" said Nikhat, looking at the door.

After some time, all of them were gathered at the cafeteria and Dr. Dilshaad came there with Dr. Rashid.

"Ma'am??" asked Asad expectantly.

"Rashid will do your work!" said Dilshaad with a smile, cheering up everyone.

"Thank you so much Sir!!" said Zoya going to him, "I will never forget this help of yours."

"It's okay Zoya" said Rashid, "I am happy that you are pleased now."

"Okay!!" said Dilshaad, "Let's not waste time. Zoya, send Rashid's number to Zainab Baaji and tell her she can call him any time and speak."

Zoya started messaging Dr. Rashid's number, while he was scared to the core thinking if he can do this perfectly.

After some time, Rashid's phone rang and Rashid looked at it, with all others peeped at his phone.

"It's Ammi!!" said Zoya, making Rashid all tensed and he was just staring at his phone.

"Pick up Sir!!" said Asad, shaking Rashid from his shock.

Rashid finally picked up the call and stayed mum.

"Hello???" said Zainab from the other side.

"He...ehemm...hello!!" said Rashid clearing his throat and Dilshaad signaled him to put the phone in speaker mode and all of them gathered in a circle around the phone.

"Mr. Waseem Hussain???" asked Zainab.

"Waseem Hussain?? Who is that???" asked Rashid in a whispering tone, covering the mic of the phone.

"It's you only Sir!! We have said my dad's name as Waseem Hussain!!" said Asad and Rashid removed his finger from the mic.

"Yes, speaking! May I know who are you??" asked Rashid to Zainab.

"Greetings Mr. Waseem!! I am Zainab. Your son Armaan is staying in my home only" said Zainab.

"Armaan??? Ohh...Armaan!! My son!! Well...sorry...yeah, I remember him saying about you Mrs. Zainab!!" said Rashid, while Dilshaad was signaling him to not make it a flop show.

"Well, I actually called you up to speak about my daughter Zoya" said Zainab.

"About me??" asked Zoya in a low tone looking at the phone.

"Ohh?? What is it??" asked Rashid.

"She is doing her masters in psychiatry in Mumbai..." said Zainab, while Rashid interrupted saying, "Yeah, I know."

Ayaan and others tapped their forehead hearing that and Dilshaad stared at Rashid.

"Sorry??" asked Zainab.

"Yeah I meant...medical students do specialization obviously these days right??" said Rashid wiping his sweat off the face.

"Ohhh...but wait, I didn't tell that Zoya is a doctor only. Then how did you...??" asked Zainab, while Zoya covered her face and slanted towards the table, frustrated with the mess.

"Well...Mrs Zainab, you didn't understand what I meant. My son Armaan stays there only right?? So, won't he tell me about your daughter and everyone when he tells about you???" asked Rashid and raised his eyebrows smirking at Dilshaad and she was amused at Rashid's timely thinking.

"Ohhh...I didn't think about that only. Well, so what I was saying is, I guess you know about my daughter and our family. She is my only child, and I am planning to get her married to some good guy and leave to London as I have my hospital there" said Zainab while Asad and Zoya were thinking what she is going to tell.

"But, may I know why you are telling these things to me Mrs. Zainab??" asked Rashid.

"It's like...I have been seeing Armaan for some time now. Trust me Mr. Waseem, I have never seen such a good cultured boy like him till now. He has impressed me at every instant since the day he came to my home. I have to tell you that you and your wife are blessed to have a son like him!!" said Zainab, while Zoya smiled proudly at Asad and side hugged him, while Rashid too smiled at Asad.

"Thank you so much. I am happy Armaan took a very good place in your heart" said Rashid.

"Well, let me come to the point. It might sound so absurd to you, but I need to tell you. Uhhh...I would like to put forward the wedding proposal of my daughter Zoya to your son Armaan!!" said Zainab, causing everyone to open their mouth wide open out of pleasant shock.

Zoya closed her mouth with her hands in awe and looked at Asad, and then hugged him tight as they achieved what they wanted. Asad too reciprocated to her hug and smiled at her, while all the friends exchanged their happiness silently.

Rashid signaled to Dilshaad asking what he must say. Dilshaad whispered to him to tell him that he will speak to Armaan and his wife and then give a reply.

"Hello??" asked Zainab as she didn't hear any response from the other side.

"Yes!!!" replied Rashid, "Well, I was dumbstruck with this sudden proposal."

"I understand Mr. Wasim. But since this thought popped up in my mind, I didn't want to think so much over it and thought to break this topic to you. By the way, this is a local number right?? You are in India?? If so, we can meet!!" said Zainab, while Rashid opened his eyes wide and looked at Dilshaad, while she remembered that she had said that Armaan's parents are in US.

Asad wrote something and showed to Rashid and asked him to say that.

"Yes Mrs. Zainab. I came for a medical conference and have to return back in..." said Rashid and looked at them, while Asad signaled 1, Zoya 2 and Dilshaad 3 fingers respectively.

"1...2...3 seconds!!!" said Rashid looking at them.

"What???" asked Zainab confused.

"I mean...the conference is there for 2 hours, then I will meet Armaan in the hospital and I will leave after that" replied Rashid, who was already getting exhausted in the conversation.

"Ohhh...okay!! Well, Mr. Wasim, do speak to Armaan and to your wife and do let me know. Sorry for disturbing you!!" said Zainab.

"No no!!! It's cool!!" said Rashid.

"Alright then, bye Mr. Wasim!! Allah Hafiz!!" said Zainab.

"Allah Hafiz!!!" said Rashid in an exhausted way, kept the phone and closed his eyes and then looked at everyone.

"Thank you Rashid!!!!" exclaimed Dilshaad as he hugged him, creating a pleasant surprise for Rashid and Dilshaad retreated realizing about the surroundings and composed herself, while Rashid gave a blushing smile at her.

"Sir!!!" said Ayaan, "I never knew you had such a talent with you. What an acting Sir!!!"

"Only I know how tensed I was during the whole convo!!" said Rashid.

"So, now the problem is over right?? Next step, Asad-Zoya's marriage!!" said Humeira happily.

"I am so happy that everything ended up as expected!!! Ammi accepted for our marriage!! Our efforts didn't go in vain!!" said Zoya happily as she looked at Asad, but Asad didn't seem that happy.

"Asad??" called out Imraan, "Dude, you don't seem to be so happy like us. What happened?? This is what you wanted right??"

"No Imraan!!" replied Asad, "This is not my aim."

"What do you mean Asad??" asked Dilshaad with a confused face.

Asad looked at Zoya, "Zoya, your Ammi has now decided to get her daughter married to Armaan, not Asad!!!"

"But, both are the same right??" asked Zoya.

"Yes!! But only we know that. According to your Ammi, Asad and Armaan are two different persons. Armaan has now got a good impression, but Asad???" asked Asad, while all were thinking about what he said.

"She has to agree to get her daughter married to Asad, after realizing that Asad too is not a bad guy" said Asad.

"But, we can reveal that after your marriage with Zoya right???" asked Tanveer, "Now you marry her as Armaan without any hindrance. Then we shall reveal that later."

"Never will I do that Tannu!!!" said Asad looking at her, "I had sworn on my Zoya, that I will make her Ammi give her hand to me whole heartedly for marriage, to Asad!! Armaan drama was just to provide myself a chance to show my character and my heart to her Ammi, which I could have never shown as Asad. And moreover, I don't want to cheat her too!!"

"So, what are you about to say Asad?? Today you are supposed to let her know your consent. What are you going to say??" asked Rashid.

Asad turned at everyone, while all looked at his face expectantly, including Zoya.

"It's time to close the curtains of Mission Armaan-Zoya!!!" said Asad, while all looked at each other confused.

"Means???" asked Zoya with a questioning look.

"Tonight, I will reveal to Zoya's Ammi, that I am not Armaan and I am that guy, from whom she wanted to keep her daughter away!! That, I am none other Asad Ahmed Khan!!!" said Asad, startling everyone.

"Whaaattt???" asked Zoya with a shocking look, and came to Asad.

"Asad!!! What are you speaking??? Reveal everything, when things had just turned favorable??? Do you know how Ammi will react if she knows this was all a drama and we all fooled her?? We might get...get separated!!" said a tensed Zoya.

"Do you trust my love dear???" asked Asad cupping Zoya's face.

"More than my love towards you!!!" replied Zoya with tears filling her eyes.

"That's enough for me!!" said Asad as he wiped the rolling tears off Zoya's cheeks.

"But Asad, this is risky..." said Dilshaad.

"My decision is final!!! Whatever has to happen, let it happen!! I have faith in my love!!" replied Asad in a stern tone and walked off, while everyone stood there tensed looking at each other, and Zoya prayed to God to make her love win.
