At least she does not make assumptions for her own feelings. 😛 She allows herself to go through the thoughts and gives herself the time, however when it comes to her friends, she just cannot stop herself. At least she knows that Ayaan is not the one for her. She is so convinced about Ayaan and Tanveer, that she is going to miss a whole lot of other indicators, which were plain in sight.
She decides for Tanveer, that still makes sense. A parent decides for a child. An older sibling decides for younger ones. It is a different issue that Zoya's own understanding is wrong most of the times. But in her own mind that is what she is doing. But Ayaan? Zoya/Emma really throws googly here. Even after writing about her thoughts on Ayaan, I still scratch my head. How does she do it ❓ Some odd remark of him here and there, she latches onto it to build her fantasy. Her over-active imagination to be blamed here.
Asad, and his disposed coat, the stain and the warmth. it was lovely. It holds so much tenderness and affection, just like the man himself, Zoe holds it dear to her as well, their own actions were just affectionate, friendly, they became something more as a memory, with just that little emotion, a wistfulness, the missing essence of Asad, being traded with a fond memory.
