Chapter 17 - Two Can Play At This Game :
Zoya's P.O.V
Asad's driving me to some place that I don't know of. No matter how many times I ask him where he is taking me, he would just ignore my question or smile at me.
Why does he have to do that? Is the place that super confidential?
"Are we there yet?" I asked for the 12th time now. Don't judge me but the beautiful smell of food which is coming out from the sealed bags is delicious.
Like I said, don't judge my patience.
"Zoya, if you won't shut up than I'll kiss you" He said.
Hearing that, I shut up immediately.
He looked at me for a second.
"Are my kisses that bad?" He said shaking his head, chuckling a bit.
"Yes" I said.
No, that's a pure lie. The biggest lie actually. Asad's kisses are like heaven, you never want to stop. The way his soft lips move against yours. You just can't get enough of it. I feel sparks fly every time he kisses me; I really can't help but enjoy the moment.
"Really?" he said, cocking an eyebrow.
No, not really.
Never ever.
"Yes, really" I said.
"Well, than I'm just going to have to change your mind." He said.
My eyes widen at his words. Will he really do that? I mean, I was just playing along at his jokes, right?
Right.
I felt my cheeks getting warmed up. Why in the world do I blush so much?
He chuckled a bit, obviously seeing my newly red face.
He held my hand and intertwined our fingers.
I smiled at how they fit perfectly, like meant to be.
We are meant to be.
Well that was cheesy.

Asad parked the car in front of a forest I assume, and got out from the driver's seat.
He opened the passenger door, just like a gentleman.
He grabbed the sealed food packages, held my hand and started walking towards the scary looking forest.
"Why are we going there?" I asked, confusion written all over my face.
"Shhh" was all that came out of his mouth.
We walked for like a few minutes, than Asad finally stopped.
I looked at him, still confused.
He came behind me, really close, so close that out bodies touched.
The funny feeling came in my stomach. The feeling that I usually get with Asad around.
He put his hand on my eyes, the other one still holding the food.
"Wha-"I was cut off by Asad.
"Just don't peek, trust me, you'll like it." He whispered.
His hot breath hitting my neck, making me go insane. Chills were now going through my body.
Now this is what Asad had over me.
A strong dominance.
"Just walk slowly." He whispered again.
Please stop, I'm going to die.
"Don't worry, I won't let you fall." He whispered, sensing my nervousness.
I started walking slowly.
A few more steps, then suddenly something hit my leg, making me fall forward.
But before anything happened, Asad's arm went around my stomach and pulled me back; making me hit his toned chest.
Damn his chest is hard.
That's defiantly a turn on.
My breath was really fast now.
"Told you" Asad whispered.
I started walking again.
"Stop" Asad said suddenly.
I stopped dead on my tracks.
"Now I'm going to take my hand off, but don't peek." He said.
He slowly took his hand off and I felt him walk away.
"Now, open your eyes." He said.
I slowly opened my eyes, expecting something wonderful, and that's what I saw.
There was a huge lake in front of us, truly beautiful. Some large trees beside it, the sun was setting, making it look even more gorgeous. The reflection of the sun hitting perfectly on the lake, the grass had a really deep shade of green color, making it stand out even more.
My mouth just fell open.
I'm just standing here like a retard, taking in the beautiful nature.
I stared at it for a few more seconds, and then finally got out of my trance.
"It's-It's, I-wow." I managed to breath out a few words.
"It's beautiful." I mumbled.
"It is." I heard Asad saying from my right.
I looked at him, only to find him looking at me.
I looked away, blushing that he was referring to me.
He came closer, putting the food down aside.
"Do you like it?" He asked, his hands holding my waist from behind.
"I love it!" I said, smiling.
"Good, now let's eat, I know you're hungry." He said.
We sat down on the grass and started out lunch, at 6 something.
We both dig into our burgers immediately.
"So, what's your favorite colour?" Asad asked, out of nowhere.
"What?" I chuckled.
"I mean, we are sitting here in silence, so why not make the best of it? After all it is our date." He winked.
I smiled, trying my hardest to hide my blush.
"It's sunny yellow." I said.
"That's a nice choice."
"What's yours?" I asked.
"Red."
"Favourite food?" He asked.
"Umm...chicken wings and pizza especially!" I said.
"You?"
"I love chicken."
I laughed.
And we just carried on like, asking questions, talking about everything and nothing.
Then finally the worst part came, which I somehow knew was going to happen sooner or later.
"Um, Zoya?" Asad asked.
"Hmm"
"How did you parents, um...died?" He asked.
"I mean it's ok if you don't want to answer." He added quickly.
"No no, it's ok." I said.
"They died when I was at a very young age. They were in a car accident, a truck hit their car. Apparently, the driver was drunk and was driving too fast. It was not my parent's fault. It all happened too fast. When we reached the hospital, the doctors said that they died immediately as the truck hit the car. It was too late to save them, I couldn't even get to say goodbye." I could feel the tears threatening to come out now.
I felt Asad move closer to me and pulled me into his lap. He hugged me tight.
"It's just that, everyday; I forget one of their things. Like how my dad used to get angry and how my mom used to laugh. One day, I'm afraid I'll forget how they looked our sounded like. It makes me quite jealous that I won't get to have the father and daughter dance that every girl has on her wedding day." Tears were falling fast now. I couldn't control them anymore.
"Shhh, baby, everything's going to be fine, its okay." Asad was whispering these words to me, hoping to make me feel better. And honestly, he was making me better than ever.
And that's one of the reasons why I love him.
"I just, miss them so much" I said. It came out more like a whisper.
"Let it all out baby." He whispered and hugged me tight to his warm chest.
I hugged him as tight as I could and cried into his chest.
After a few minutes of sobbing, I finally looked up.
"Your amazing, you know that." I said, my voice cracking a bit.
"I try." He said in a low tone, making me giggle.
"I love you." I said.
He grinned.
"I love you too." He said, kissing my forehead.
"You know, you look cute when you cry, your nose goes all red and your lips even more." He said.
I pecked his lips.
"You're a tease you know that." He said.
"I try." I mimicked him, biting my lip to tease him more.
In one swift move he pushed me down onto the grass and started tickling me.
I started laughing and giggling uncomfortably.
"Asa-ad, As-ad. P-please, sto-stop." I begged.
"Only if you kiss me"
"Kiss my ass!" I said.
He tickled me more in result.
"Ok ok, fine!" I squealed.
He made a duck face and leaned down. I couldn't help but laugh at it.
As he came closer I slapped lightly across his cheek.
"Oh so that's how we're playing huh?" He said.
He pinned both my hands above my head and leaned in.
"Well, two can play at this game." He whispered before kissing me passionately.
And that's what you call a perfect date with a perfect guy.
