CHAPTER 1:😊

Zoya's house:

"Zoya..wake up..Zoya"

"Hummy let me sleep"Zoya said drowsily covering her ears with her pillow.

"Zoya its your first day at work.Dont tell me that you want to be late on your first day.Its already 7"

"Ya Allah! Its 7?! Hummy why didnt you wake me up before?" She opens her eyes with a jolt and rushes to the washroom fetching her clothes to get ready.

She had arrived in India 2 weeks ago with her little sister Humeira.Though the main purpose of her visit to India was to see her elder sister Zeenat and Anwar jeeju,she had expressed her wish to find a job in India.It was decided that Humeira also would continue her further studies in India.

Zoya got ready as soon as possible and came and ran towards the main door when she heard Zeenat calling her.

"Zoya..have your breakfast and go"

"No aapi I need to rush. Bye everyone" She said closing the door behind her.

Office:

Zoya stood in front of a beautiful immense building. She instantly fell in love with the architecture. She had a feeling that this was going to change her life.

How? She didn't know, after all this was just an ordinary job. She opened the door shooing away her thoughts. She went to the receptionist who told her to take signatures from Mr.Asad Ahmed Khan .

She asked the directions and made her way to his cabin."Mr.Asad Ahmed Khan" The signboard read. Sighing she turned the knob and opened the door to find no one.Thinking that he was in a meeting she thought to wait for him. She noticed that his cabin was very organized and immaculate. She made her way to the chair and waited for him.

She heard some one opening the door and turned to find a man catching some files making his way towards the desk.

"Hi maam am Praveen Mr.Khan's Accountant. How can I help you?" He said,arranging the files on the table.

"Iam Zoya. Iam here to take charge as his PA and the receptionist asked me to take his signatures on these papers" She said pointing to the file in her hand containing the papers.

"Oh Iam sorry but I think you won't be able to meet him today as he has not come to the office for a few days. He was supposed to arrive today but due to some reasons he couldn't make it. As for today you can go through some of those files and arrange it . And...rest of the job will only be after Mr.Khan's arrival." He said pointing to the files he had brought with him.

"Oh..ok..I will go through these.But what about my desk?I didn't notice any desk outside" Zoya inquired.

"Woh Actually maam it had to be repaired. Until then you will be sharing the cabin with Sir."

After explaining the basic rules and regulations,Praveen made his way back to his cabin.

Zoya slumped to the chair and started with her work and soon it was lunch break.She soon made her way to the canteen.

While walking towards the canteen she hit with a girl of about her age and muttered a sorry and was about to start moving when the girl initiated to strike a conversation.

"Hey I am Nikhat..are you new here?"

"Yes..actually I just joined today as Mr.Khan's PA."

"Oh..so you are Sir's new PA.Congratulations"

"Thank you" Zoya replied smiling.

"Would you mind joining us for lunch?" Nikhat asked.

"Us?"

"Oh..yes them.."She said pointing to a table where a group of people were seated. "They are my friends. They would love to see you"

"That's a pleasure"

Nikhat took Zoya to the table and introduced her to everyone. Zoya soon came to know that the group consisted of Imraan, Farhaan , Samaira, Arif and Najma.

Soon they were seen chatting over enjoying their meal.

"Well You are really lucky that sir is not here today.Otherwise you would not be laughing sitting here." Najma said.

"What do you mean?" Zoya inquired.

"Well..Our sir is known for his anger. Its good that you don't need to hear shouting on your first day." Farhaan replied. "He is Maha Khadus. We have never seen him smile. He needs everything in is way. But don't worry slowly you will get used to it like us" Nikhat added.

Soon lunch was over and everyone dispersed to their cabins.
