Chapter 4

Next day Asad took Zoya to a restaurant where he expected to have some nice time with her but she actually seemed too busy with her pizza. Asad really felt jealous of that stupid Pizza who was getting more of Zoya's attention than him. After paying the bills, they made their way towards their car. Their hands locked up in each others. Before they could even reach the car in the parking area they heard one of the boys standing there said pointing towards Zoya "Look at her how hot she looks." Asad wanted to go and beat them black and blue when he heard that. But Zoya held his arm not allowing him to go. But when they passed the next comment, Asad was full of rage. Ignoring Zoya he went towards them.

He went and slapped the guy hard which made him fall down on his stomach. That wasn't the end. The guy got up erasing the blood marks by the side of his lips. He punched Asad. This was the high time. Zoya couldn't see Asad being punched in front of her. As some people rushed to Asad and the guy. Zoya took Asad away while the people took the guy away. "What was the need to beat him Asad?" Zoya began to yell at Asad. "You know Zoya he was..." "He was what Asad?" "He can't look at you the way he was looking at you like because that's mine and only mine right." Asad yelled back.

The car drive was almost a silent one. Asad tried to talk to Zoya several times but she seems not to respond. Once they reached in front of Khan Villa. Zoya got down the car as soon as it came to halt. She made her way to her room when Asad followed her. "Zoya at least listen to me once." "Zoya..." Asad called her when she tucked her strands of hair that curtained her eyes.By the time they were in front of Zoya's room on the second floor of the house. Zoya went inside the room. "Zoya at-least try to understand..." Asad who was still standing near the door was pulled in by Zoya. That was no sooner when she closed the door. Asad turned. His back was now facing Zoya. Zoya hugged Asad from back. "What happened?" Zoya asked as she saw Asad looking a bit surprised. She continued "Was this what you thought or..." Zoya was cut by Asad "I am Sorry Zoya" Asad turned to face Zoya. Zoya went out of the room after giving Asad a beautiful smile. "Z ... Zoya what happened?" Asad asked as Zoya unexpectedly went out of the room. "Asad your heartbeat is even fast than your racing speed."Zoya teased Asad. Zoya began to go downstairs after showing her 32 to Asad with Asad following her. "Zoya. .. Zoya listen to me." Asad called Zoya but before Zoya could even reply she slipped and fell down the stairs.

Asad had called Zeenat Aapi there in the Hospital. Zoya had got a sprain in her foot. They stood in the Corridor of the Hospital, ready to go back. "Can't you be a little more careful Zoya?" Zeenat scolded Zoya. "Asad take care of her I'll be here in a minute, I need to talk to Doctor." Zeenat added. To which Asad nodded.

Zoya tried to walk a little with Asad's help. "You know what Zoya I always thought that you get bored bringing me here, but its not that boring actually." Asad teased Zoya. "And you pushed me down the starirs just to push your boredom aside right." Zoya teased Asad back. Before they could go on teasing each other, voice of a lady took their attention. The lady shouted frantically to save her husband. She pleaded him to open his eyes. Her husband had a heart attack. The lady's state reminded Zoya of Asad's state. His heart too had an expiry date. 2 years just 2 years. That too wasn't even guaranteed. The lady's state made Zoya's eyes moist. She excused herself with a fake smile on the pretext of forgetting her bag in the ward. Asad let her go. He knew she needed few moments alone. The situation was making Asad feel guilt for hurting Zoya but he was helpless. As soon as Zoya left, Zeenet came and stood near Aasd. She had witnessed everything.

"She behaves as if she does not know anything. She has centered her complete life around you."Zeenat said as tears roll down her cheeks. Wheres as Asad preferred to stay quite. "Only God knows how she will manage to live without you." Zeenet continued after a pause "Asad please do me a favor please teach her to live without you before you..." she preferred not to complete the sentence. She left the place to check on Zoya. That's when Asad got a call. He picked the call up. "Hello" he answered the call as he looked down at the floor. After listening to what the person on the other end of the call said, he looked up straight. He looked determined to what he must do now. "Complete all the formalities. I'll reach there tomorrow."
