Disappointment is an understatement for today's episode, I just can't believe I was once an ardent fan of the same show.
Unwanted scenes:
1. Tannu monologue before the mirror, obsolutely not required.
2. Zoya talk with Tanveer, do we need it? I didn't think so.
3. Asad receiving guests and talking to Zoya on phone, didn't add much value.
Under baked scenes:
1. Razia, Zoya and Humaira convo, CVs should have given this scene more screen space with better dialogues to make it more impactful.
2. Shireen's sensible question deserved little bit more comforting response from Khan sisters.
3. Reducing Asad and Haider to mere eye candies with one liners.
Badly executed scenes:
1. Billi seemlessly tying up Razia and having enough time throwing her in bath tub to die before Asad arrived but she was not able to manage breaking the cell phone before going down for Nikah.
2. Billi hiding cell phone in her shoe and limping to gain unwanted attention ...choli could have been a better option for it.
3. Red color water in the bath tub, is that for screen impact or MUMMANI dress color was being faded into the water?
My take on how the episode should have been shot:
Scene 1. Mummani walking past Tannu's room to lure her and the scene continues as is until MUMMANI tricked and recorded the confession, Tannu trips Razia and while she is busy tying Razia's mouth, Razia sneekily grabs the phone and forwards confession to Humaira's cell and then puts back the cell on floor, Tannu manages to lock Razia in bathroom to die and comes out and destroy the phone and go down stairs in style for nikah with atmost content that she has won the game.
Scene 2. Razia is at verge of death and remembers the flashback with Zoya and Humzie. FB: Razia apologizes to Zoya that she did what ever she did to protect Humaira but now that both sisters are happy, she too has come to terms with reality and now she want to help them in their cause in getting evidence against Tannu to protect the family.
Scene 3. Humzie shows confession video to Zoya and at the same time they notice Tannu waking down the steps, they get alarmed of Razia's safety and calls her back but as they can't reach her via phone, both rushes upstairs and rescues Razia.
Scene 4. Zoya informs Asad about evidence via phone, Quazi sahab asks if he is ready to take Billi as his wife and Asad responds saying No and the billi revelation follows as per the precap.
How difficult it is to make the episode a bit sensible than creating unwanted drama ...anyways ...I am just being a critic I guess.
