Hyderabad - the largest South Indian city & capital of Andhra Pradesh. Asad has reached Hyderabad city, where his beloved zoya has been born & bought up. She is the daughter of this city. It took almost one month after the entrance exam for asad to join Hyderabad IIM. After all it's a long process, sending application, application approval & then interview. He did well the interview session. Zoya was really excited as asad is in her city. Till now asad has not revealed his plan. She didn't ask much she knows he will do something only after thinking a lot. He has well order in his life. Zoya is much of impulsive & messy person. This may be what they say opposite attracts. They both used to talk on phone daily & used to skype also as they couldn't resist to stay without seeing each other.
Zoya has sent her address to asad. When he was in Bhopal itself asad researched a lot about the employees list from the time anwar naizam has joined the Central bank of India. Much of to his surprise one of his ex colleague was now working in Bhopal branch who has one of the accounts of dilshad constructions. Asad went & met that man & informed him that as he is joining in IIM Hyderabad he wants to stay in a home as a paying guest as it's an unknown city to him & since it's South India also he doesn't want to stay in any hostel. Obviously he suggested anwar's name as he was close to him. Asad presented in an excellent manner so that he never leave even 1% clue about his relation with zoya. He also came to know that after so much pressurisation anwar has agreed. Asad could completely understand anwar's point of view, after all he is a worried dad of 2 teenage girls. Only when he reached Hyderabad asad informed zoya that he is going to stay in her house. No doubt zoya was shocked. She actually admired the way he succeed to get her abbu's permission to stay in there house.
Zoya stay's near Hussain lake road. Asad has reached Hyderabad around Sunday morning. As he moved towards zoya's house he was admiring the city. Since Mughals has ruled once Hyderabad city is well known for it's architecture. Asad being an architect was admiring the city. Most of the locals knew Hindi so communication was not a big problem for asad. Zoya's house was in a street near to Hussain lake road. It was a typical area where middle class people lived. Zoya's house was also a typical middle class South Indian house. Mostly made on wood. By seeing itself asad could make out it's at least 20 yrs old. But he actually liked the house. It was a double story house.
It was zeenat who opened the door. The naizam family greeted him. Asad could notice that there is a small amount of tension in anwar & zeenat. It's actually a normal feeling for girls parents. Zoya's younger sister Humeira was also there. Both zoya & Humeira resemble a lot. Every one could make out they are sisters once they stand together. Only difference is Humeira is bit short & thin than zoya. Within seconds asad realised that both the sisters resemble in there character also. Humeira is also a chatter box just like zoya. He can't even imagine the condition of the house when these two chatter boxes unite. Asad has asked zeenat whether he can call her Khala as he preferred Khala more than aunty. Zeenat was touched. She could see asad is a decent guy & there is no need to worry much.
Asad was given a room downstairs. Through zoya he knew both zoya's & humeira's room is upstairs. After freshening up it was zeenat who took him to see the entire house.
Zeenat: asad I heard you have completed B.arch. Actually my elder daughter is also doing b.arch. Where did you do your graduation?
Asad: Khala I did my b.arch from Delhi university. Actually I have passed out in this march only.
Zeenat: Delhi university? My zoya is also studying there. Now she is second year. Do you know her? Her full name is zoya naizam
Asad: zoya nizam. I think there was a painting champion last year by this name. Does she paints?
Zeenat: ha asad. She was the painting champion last year. Do you know her?
Asad: I have seen her during college day competition. Personally no.
Asad did feel guilty to lie in front of zeenat. But now he can't reveal it to her.
By night time asad was feeling like he is in his own home. Humeira has became friendly with him with that time. Even anze felt asad was from there own family. Next day asad has to join IIM. So he slept early. Next day anwar has given guidelines to go to IIM, anwar even took initiative to help asad by accompanying him but asad politely denied as he didn't want to trouble him. He went through the metro. Hyderabad has one the best metro rail service.
Asad has actually started liking his college & staying with naizam's. Asad at first had a difficulty with food, as it's really spicy & he is not used to have much spice. But slowly he was adjusting & started liking it.
Asad even started helping Humeira in her studies. She is doing her 12 th. He helps her to study maths & physics. His stay was actually helpful to zeenat also. He used to get her all household groceries. At first zeenat was hesitant, when asad said that he will go to the market & get the grocery items. But when asad said that he considers her just like his ammi & just want to help her. This actually touched zeenat & after that she never hesitated anything with asad. To Humeira he was filling zoya's absence & he did protect her like his own sister.
Anwar & zeenat wanted Humeira to take up engineering & they were pressurising her a lot to study for entrance. Asad understood that Humeira is not comfortable with this. So he decided to talk to her.
Asad: Humeira if I ask you something will you answering me frankly?
Humeira: ji bhaijaan
Asad: are you really interested in doing engineering?
Humeira had tears in her eyes.
Humeira: bhaijaan I am not interested in doing engineering. Zoya baji had the passion of taking architecture from childhood, so she worked hard & achieved. But I am not interested. Baji too knows. We both spoke about this to ammi & abbu. But they are not listening to us & they want me to take a professional course as it has a secured career.
Asad: Humeira if you don't want to do engineering then don't pressurise yourself & sacrifice your dreams for your parents. You may be able to complete there dreams but after one point you will get frustrated & you will start blaming them. So do what you actually want to do in your life.
Humeira: bhaijaan I want to do BMM ( bachelor of mass media). I had always a passion for writing & in my school I always won something related to literature & writing competition. I want to work in a newspaper editorial team. I want to become a news paper or magazine editor. But ammi & abbu never listens to me. They believes that only if we do some professional courses we will have a stable career.
Asad: just trust me Humeira. I will talk with your ammi & abbu. You will never do something which you doesn't want to do in your life.
As usual asad discussed this matter with zoya in there Skype chats during night. It has became a routine for them. Daily night they used to do skype chatting & they couldn't miss seeing each other daily. They both used to share everything in detail during there skype session.
Zoya: it's true asad. Humeira has a passion for literature & she used write in school competitions. She has always won in all those competitions. She wanted to be a writer from childhood. We both spoke with ammi & abbu. But it was useless.
After speaking with zoya asad was determined to speak with anwar & zeenat. It was a usual day when they all gathered for dinner. Asad put thus topic.
Asad: please don't feel that I am interfering in your personal matters. As I was teaching Humeira I could feel that she is really not interested In giving entrance exams. I talked with her. She preferred to do BMM & want to be a writer. If she wants to do BMM then I think we shouldn't pressurise her. There are a lot of opportunity in all fields now a days.
Anwar: asad you are just like family. I can understand that you really care for Humeira just like your own sister. She is a kid. She doesn't have experience in life. As elders we should guide.
Zeenat: ha asad. It's always better to go for professional courses.
Asad: Khala for your wish Humeira might take up engineering. She might become sucessful also. But after sometime she will regret that she had to throw away her ambition for her parents wish. At that time you will also regret that you have fulfilled all her wishes but failed to fulfil her biggest wish in her life.
Anwar & zeenat was awestruck with asad's words. They did give a thought about it & they both discussed among them. After 2 days on dinner time anwar & zeenat declared that Humeira can select her own career & they will support her in all ways. Humeira was literally jumping with joy. She went & hugged her parents & then asad.
Humeira: ( with tears) thank you bhaijaan I never thought I would be able to fulfil my ambition. It's all because of you. Thank you so much.
Asad: any time.
Humeira has called up & informed everything in detail to zoya. Zoya was feeling so happy & at the same time she was proud about asad. That night if zoya could come out through her iPad screen she would have attacked him with kisses. She was that happy.
Days were passing. It has been almost 6 months since asad & zoya has met. Both were missing each other like crazy. One day asad came back to home in the afternoon as he had a half day. Anwar has given him a spare key of the house. He opened & came inside. Suddenly some weight fell on him. He was surprised to see zoya Infront of him. He too hugged her back.
Asad : how come you are here?
Zoya: Allah Miya! What's wrong with you? Is this the way you treat your lover when you see her after 6 long months?
Asad: zoya you never told me that you are coming here? Wait is that the reason you didn't come to skype last night?
Zoya: I was in train.
Asad: you lied to me that you have headache & going to sleep early. Morning also you messaged me that you woke up late & went directly to class?
Zoya: ya Allah I just want to surprise you & here you are accusing me?
Asad: you lied to me?
Zoya has lost her patience. She used her final weapon. She just pulled him & kissed him, pouring all her frustration & pain of separation.
He too kissed her. He was also eagerly waiting for her touch since past 6 months.
Zoya: I am sorry I didn't want to lie you. I just want to surprise you. college day functions have started. Plus there is public holiday for eid al adha. So I don't have classes. So I came.
Asad: you skipped college day competitions?
Zoya: I participated last year. That's enough. I wanted to see you. So I came. You remember last year you proposed me?
Asad: ha zoya how can I forget?
Zoya took him to her room. She showed him her childhood photos. She was going on explaining how people used to like her & pull her chubby cheeks. While explaining she pulled his cheeks also. Just to irritate her he started teasing her.
Asad: you were fat during childhood.
Zoya: how dare you call me fat? I am not fat just a bit healthy. And it's the problem in the angle which they took photo. Never call your lover or wife fat. Understood?
Asad ( scared): ji
In the evening it was like a festival. After all zoya surprised everyone by her arrival. It was unbearable for asad when Zohu came together. They were even worse than kg class children. But he saw they were cute in there own way.
Asad has never went any where in Hyderabad. He wanted to roam the city with zoya. She knew this & each day along with the family they went for outing. They went to charminar, lanco hills, Hussain sagar, Golconda fort, birla mandir, chowmahalla palace.

On Sunday they went to ramoji film city.
They also visited sultan bazaar & Laad bazaar. Hyderabad is know as as pearl city & when they visited Laad bazaar asad has asked zoya to select pearl sets for his sisters & ammi. He also got one for her as her birthday is coming in next month. He didn't mention to her. Before she was leaving to Delhi he gifted it to her secretly. Asad & zoya has confessed there relation in front of Humeira once when they three went for outing. No doubt Humeira was initially shocked but she was happy as asad & zoya make a good pair & she really like asad a lot. After that she never left a chance to tease them. She also helped them to met secretly in the night in terrace, so asad was able to gift her the pearl set in advance for her b'day.
Five months later
As days passed asad & zoya concentrated on there studies but never failed to come on skype chatting daily in the night. Zoya has given her 2 nd year exams well. She came for 2 weeks vacation to Hyderabad. But asad was having study leave. So they couldn't spent much time together. But when everyone goes to work only asya & Humeira was left in home. Humeira also was giving her board exams. Zoya used to take care of both asad & Humeira. In between there studies she used to give them coffee, tea, juice & she used to even prepare snacks for them.
Before asad's exam has started zoya's results came. She was the topper once again her batch. After the results are out zoya had to return back to Delhi next day itself.
Asad too did his exams well & after exams he had 15 days leave. So he left to Bhopal. after an year he is going to his house.
Anze & Humeira was missing asad when asad left to Bhopal. He has became there own family in this one year.
Ten months later
Zoya was preparing for her 3 rd year final exams. Humeira has scored distinction in her board exams & joined for BMM in Hyderabad university.
Even asad was doing well & as usual he is topper in his batch.
Zoya was tensed. Asad is now doing his internship in a reputed firm in Hyderabad for past 2 months, after a month he has to give his final exam. She has gone to Hyderabad 5 months back during college day functions. Only Humeira knew about there relationship. They didn't present in front of anwar & zeenat. Asad was waiting for revealing it before his final year exam. Both asad & zoya was sure that anwar & zeenat like asad, but they both were tensed since it's different when it come about marriage.
When zoya came to Hyderabad after giving her exams asad was determined to present in front of the family.
On one such day evening time
Anwar & zeenat was relaxing after coming from bank in the hall. Asad went towards them holding zoya's hands. No doubt anwar & zeenat was shocked seeing that site.
Asad: Khala last year when I came here I lied to you that I don't know zoya. The fact is that me & zoya met each other on zoya's first day of college. We used to meet each other daily in library in the evenings. We soon became friends & eventually we fell in love. Zoya was scared to commit at first because she loves her family & she didn't want to hurt her parents. But I assured her that I will marry her only with the permission of both the families. I came here to convince you guys for our nikkah.
Both anwer & zeenat was too shocked. They didn't know what to say. They knew asad is a good guy & he comes from a good family. He is really caring & affectionate. He has all the qualities which they want in zoya's groom. But he is a North Indian & he is from a rich family. Finally anwer spoke.
Anwer: asad we all like you & you have all the qualities what we want in zoya's groom but asad our culture is different & we are middle class people.
Asad: I know it's different but me & zoya loves each other. We both can't think of any one else as our life partner.
Anwer: what zoya has to say?
Zoya: abbu you guys always fulfilled my wishes. You gave me complete freedom. I never want to hide anything from you. Even tough I fell in love I was scared to commit first to asad as I felt I may end up in hurting you guys. But asad erased all my fears. He came all the way here just to convince you guys for our nikkah. Abbu nikkah is a life long commitment for me which has to be maintained through love. I has already written asad's name in my heart. I can never imagine any one else in his position.
There was silence for a long time.
Zeenat: asad does your family knows about zoya? Will they ever accept my zoya as there dil?
Asad: Khala I first wanted your permission then I will introduce zoya to my family on right time. I am sure they will like her & accept her.
Anwer & zeenat didn't speak anything. They just informed that they want sometime to think about it.
As days passed both asad & zoya was in turmoil. They don't know whether her parents ever accept this relation or not? There was total tension going on in the house.
Even after zoya's results were announced & she scored highest mark as usual she couldn't be happy. She has to leave next day back to Delhi. Zoya was going on crying. Zoya never left crying. So before zoya started to railway station anwer spoke to Asya.
Anwer: asad we really like you & since you & zoya loves each other truly we don't have any objection in your nikkah but I want everything in a proper way. As tradition your family has to ask our daugther's hand then only I can promise.
Asad: after zoya finishes her final year exams my family will come & ask her hand from you I promise that. Only 2 more years are left for zoya. Just trust me.
Zeenat: we trust you beta.
Note: I was extremely upset with the show & it took whole day for me to update this part. I hope I have not taken out my frustration in this part.
