Haider Shaikh (Mohit Sehgal) is not a character who is perfect. He is unscrupulous. He seeks revenge but he is probably going about it in a wrong way. But one acts this way when one is wounded deeply. He is lashing out to cause maximum hurt to Razia Siddiqui (Alka Kaushal) and Gaffur Siddiqui (Tej Sapru) by torturing their most precious person, their daughter Humeira (Ketki Kadam).

What is the message in a plot like this? Well, to us it is obviously one that says, do not seek revenge, it is double edged sword that will cut both ways. Emotional upheaval such as what Haider has gone through has made him what he is today and while to him revenge is the only way out else he will fester inside and be emotionally dead.

He is a crippled soul. Will Humeira's love awaken with in him the softer emotions? Or is the man within dead?
