After long 16 hours asad, dilshad & najma reached JFK airport. Asad had arranged a cab to go to zoya's house. Zoya stays with her API & jiju in manhattan. When they started to move to manhattan in cab asad was tensed. What will be zoya's reaction. After all this will she accept him? Dilshad understood asad's emotions & consoled him. After all her zoya has heart of gold. Eventually she will accept him. He was becoming impatient to meet his zoya after long 1 month. They reached lower manhattan. The farooqui family stay in an apartment. No doubt the apartment was in posh area. The architecture of the building attracted the most. Dilshad had there address. They stay in the top pest floor as it is a pent house.
Zeenat was surprised to see dilshad & her kids in her door steps. She went & hugged her. She invited them inside. Both anwar & zeenat had just returned from there work. They both are working in NASA. Both were very happy to see them. Zeenat got tea & snakes for them. They both thanked them for taking care of zoya for when she was in Bhopal. Dilshad explained them there purpose of arrival. No doubt anze was shocked after hearing what all happened in Indian in those 2 months when zoya stayed in KV. They both noticed zoya was too low after returning from Bhopal. Even tough she didn't pretend but being her parents both anwar & zeenat noticed it. They thought it may be due to her abbu. Zeenat wanted to conduct zoya's nikkah ASAP. After all she had completed 20 yrs of age. But anwar asked zeenat not to hurry & give her own space. Zoya wanted to continue her studies. She had done Bsc in computer science. She wanted to go for MSc. But the colleges will open only after 3 months for new academic year admission. So zoya had joined a crash course in graphic designing. She had joined after noon session. Since anwar & zeenat goes for job in the morning zoya goes to library after they leave. She goes to the class from there.
Anwar & zeenat really liked asad. After all he is there dilshad appa's son. But final decision will be zoya's. Zeenat took them inside to show there room. Even tough it's an apartment it's more like a house since it's a double storey building. Asad noticed that they could see the skyline. Asad was given room in upstairs opposite to zoya. Asad had noticed that they have an open out area much like a big balcony with well furnished & through the open area it leads to a small swimming pool through small stairs on one side of balcony. He like the view in balcony. After freshening up asad went to zoya's room. It was like a princess room. It is full of pink, white & blue combination. Her room was still messy. But he could feel her smell. A photo near her bed made him stunned. It was a photo frame given to zoya by tanveer in which a photo of asad, dilshad & najma was there. When she opens her eyes she first sees there photo. He had tears in his eyes. How he failed to recognise her. He throwed out a girl who loves his family like her own by declaring her as a misfit & preferred a witch who had a polite face & devils mind.
Asad murmured : I am sorry zoya. I was late to realise your love.
Central Park
After class zoya came to Central Park. It had become her usual routine for past one month. She used to get up late in the morning. She rarely sleep in the night. Even if she sleeps it become early morning. Her full night is filled with asad's thoughts.
Even in her wild dreams she expected to fall for a man like asad Ahmed khan. At first she was irritated with his judgemental behaviour. But then she realised that he is a great son & brother. When she accidentally landed up in her washroom she had a big crush on him by seeing his six packs. He became her jahaphana six packs.
He had saved her life many times. Then she started admiring him. There equation completely changed after mangalpur incident. She could see his love for her on his eyes. But even after that he preferred to stay away from her. She knows it's only because of his painful past. May be that's the main reason she had shared her painful past to him. He helped her to find her abbu. Even tough due to Bhanga effect they both confessed there love.
When tanveer entered first time in her life she was jealous of someone. It's only because that tanveer was a perfect women material whom asad was waiting for in his life. She was hurt by his closeness to tanveer. But indeed his eyes spoke volumes. She could see his love & care for her in his eyes. If he was not with her when she found out that her abbu passed away, it's only because of him she survived that misery in her life. She declared that she wants to go back to New York. But she so wished if he stopped her. Even tough his eyes wants her to stay he couldn't bring it out of his mouth. He was so correct. She is a misfit in his life.
After coming back to New York it was tough for her to pretend in front of API & jiju that she is the real carefree zoya. She remembered her first skype chat with dilshad & najma. The trio was crying for a long time. After all they had became her own in this short period of time. In order to run away from his memories zoya decided to do pg. But the academic year will only start after 3 months. So she decided to join a crash course in graphic designing.
She rarely sleep in the night. His face haunted her. Even if she sleep it will be in the morning. When she get up API & jiju would have mostly left. She doesn't want to sit alone in home. It will only lead her mind back to asad. So she goes to library. Either she will prepare for her pg or she will continue her online job. Zoya was doing an online job for a software company for the past 2 yrs. even tough her noon session will be over within 2 hours after class she roams near by parks Only to find peace of mind.
It was najma who informed about asad & tanveer's sagaai. She could see najma & dilshad was so happy. Mr.khan was so correct. It was tanveer who suited him. After all she is a misfit. Even tough she had made up her mind saying that she is a misfit in his life, she couldn't control after hearing asad & tanveer' s sagaai news. She cried through out the whole night. In The morning she was shocked to see her eyes blood shot red after crying for the whole night. She thanked Allah that API & jiju had left by the time she got up. Otherwise what explanation she will give to them?
Zoya thought it had been almost a week after asad's sagaai with tanveer. But neither phupi nor najma came online. May be they all will be busy with wedding preparations. Zoya wiped her tears. She moved to the parking area. She travels in a pink colour Vespa scooter. She thought of going back to home.
Farooqui penthouse
It had almost became 7 when zoya came back. She wished her API & jiju & moved to the stairs. All of a sudden she was arrested in a pair of arms. After the initial shock she found that she was arrested by her tamater. No doubt zoya was surprised to see najma there at this moment. It doubled when she saw dilshad & asad. Dilshad went & hugged her.
Zoya: I missed you so much phupi.
Dilshad: me too beta.
Zoya: but phupi you are here all of a sudden, where is tanveer?
Every one's face turned dark after hearing tanveer's name which made zoya more confused.
Dilshad: zoya asad & tanveer are not engaged.
Zoya was no doubt shocked.
Zoya: kyun phupi?
Dilshad slowly explained what had happened on the engagement day. No doubt zoya had the greatest shock in her life.
