QH touched up on few social issues in the past regarding misconception of western dressing and women standing up for herself against eve teasing but then again it regressed back to kitchen politics.

Now I would like to see some women empowerment in QH other than their current skills such as love for sharp objects, dangerous conspiracies/murder plans or violent one ups. Wouldn't it be wonderful to see Zoya assisting Mr.Khan at work combined with sweet nothings. We can give Najma and Nikhat a skip for time being due to pregnancy and revenge tracks but Nujjat should be shown as interested in making her own money before she could think of nikah.

So far only two women characters are shown as financially successful individuals, Billo rani as an entrepreneur running successful garment factory and Razia with equal signatory rights in Gaffy's business decisions but both are negative characters. It is time for CVs to show positive characters interest in earning money not out of need like Dilshad but for the sake of self worth and passion to be independent.

i would absolutely love to see Zoya working! i would prefer more if she works independently rather than with Mr. Khan!!! i also want Nikhat to be an independent working lady who will be emotionally stronger!!! i hope CV think of that.

I have a feeling that Nikhat would end up emotionally strong and will stand on her own feet towards end of the revenge track. However, I am not so hopeful about Zoya, CVs are hell bent on showing Zoya's multi tasking skills in a very poor light. Zoya is unable to consumate her Nikah as she is struggling to balance her emotions as a wife and a daughter at the same time, add job to the mix and I bet Mr.Khan will remain as a virgin forever.

Nice post (: Yeah, for me the most disappointing is Zoya. After building up her character as an educated and intelligent young woman with a drive for life, I thought they'd show her as an independent person, with a job of her own. But all she seems to do is hang out at home. Would love to see something along those lines for the other female characters as well, hope it happens (:

The way current tracks are going, there is no much scope for Zoya and Najma but Nikhat's chances of standing up on her feet seems to be possible. Zoya is a huge disappointment in more than one way to me, she falls easily prey to Billi, fails to collect evidence against Billi or tried to hide things from Asad for no good reason and never thinks of standing on her own feet. Worse much, she can't focus on getting her Nikah consummated and miserably failing in balancing her roles as wife and a daughter.

Yeah, Zoya is shown as failing miserably at balancing the very few responsibilities that she currently holds as it is, that's true ):

Initially I loved her character but some where down the line she morphed in to some one unrecognizable. There were times I used feel proud of her but now a days, mostly my feelings are like ' Zoya, not again'.

Same here man!! Like the precap, despite it being filmy/cute, made me think oh come on Zoya not again haha.
