I adore you even without a puppy face. Next one tomorrow, but not this long. I had been working on this story for past month, so first chapter was super long, but that won't be the case now.

Thank you. As you know, the main reason for selecting Emma is that I found Mr Knightley in Asad and Zoya in Emma. Once I seriously gave a thought with an aim to develop an adaptation and looked at other characters, they surprisingly fit very well. Trust me, I didn't have to do much.

It feels like those jigsaw puzzles with two different pictures on both sides. If we fit puzzle pieces to get one picture, we automatically get another. That is how easily QH characters are fitting the world of Emma and after noticing these similarities, I got more and more excited. Yh...some of them will have personality change - mainly the ones who are negative in QH - Gafoor, the one who must not be named😉. You know we even have Mrs Churchil in Razia - moomani who wants to keep her nephew under her control (I haven't decided whether she finds a place in this story or not.)

The behind the bushes and the car parking had the perfect tongue in the cheekiness 😆

Wow...thank you. 😳 I am planning to follow the book closely in the earlier part (Volume I of the book) and so yes, Raashid and Dilshaad will get together, but I am not going to spend much time on the period before their marriage. Actually, like the book and TV/movie adaptations, I was going to open the story with their wedding, but then thought of another way to introduce all the characters.

Only you could make Ghafoor likeable. ⭐️

Yes, this is the first time I am writing when they already know each other very well. Will make really interesting relationship dyanmics.

Emma is not as popular as P and P, but there is something really attractive about the way Austen wrote Emma and her character, it's probably underrated as compared to her other works. Emma is more flawed than almost all her other heroines. Austen made her go through a wide range of graphs, from frivolous to sensitive to pretentious to loving, having said that she also wrote her in such a way that had most potential in a story. The story graph and range of Emma is immense.

Nothing beats P & P in terms of popularity, but Emma is I think second favorite among readers. Maybe, she ties with Anne. Yes, she is very different from other Austen heroines (And, Zoya when the show started was different from other TV heroines). As per the ways of world then, in most advantageous position and at the same time the most flawed and yet adorable. I don't agree with Jane's statement of creating a heroine that no one would like. Even Mr Knightley with all his scoldings liked her. 😛

Noe I want regular and soonish updates pretty please. 😳

the strong bond of friendship between AsYa is the something i loved the most in this FF..

Yep, the bond of friendship is what sets apart Mr Knightley and Emma from all other Austen couples. Many readers of Emma say that these two had the greatest chance for happily ever after and I agree.
