Asad Vs Zoya : The quiz

Part 2

Asad. Man think. You don't want to lose. Do you? And not at all from a girl.' His mind said. But she is not just a girl. She is Zoya. What if you lose once? She will win. You will be happy.' His heart said. Oh don't be so old fashioned. If you won't win, she will tease you to death and also she will think you don't love her as much as she does.' His mind smiled cruelly because Asad had almost agreed. You love her Asad.' His heart tried once more. Yeah and everything is fair in love and war. So this is love. This is war. Go ahead and think of something so that so that you won't lose.' His mind had finally won. But what should I do? I don't know much about her.' Asad scratched his head. He thought for a while. "Idea!" He sprang up from the bed. That's like my boy. Now tell me what is it?' His mind said acting like it was eager to know. Asad smirked and began whispering his idea but stopped in the middle. "Wait. Why am I telling this to you? You are my mind and already know it. Infact why am I even talking to you? Go. Inside. Now." Asad said sternly. Ok bro. Just chill I was testing your intelligence.' Saying this, his mind was now where it belonged. I am going crazy. And this is because of? Zoya! Yeah right, Zoya and this stupid quiz of which I am a part now.' Asad thought and then calling Zoya, he exited his room.

He came to the living room and saw Zoya and Najma watching a ghost movie covering their eyes with their palms, trying hard not to scream. Asad chuckled seeing both of them in this state. This is the right time to execute my plan.' He tiptoed to Zoya's room. Opening the door, he entered to see clothes spread all over her bed, Pizza boxes and packets of chips lying open on the side table. Cans of coke were rolling on the floor. Asad pinched the bridge of his nose and massaged his forehead. Asad shook his head in order to focus on his plan. He moved inside closing the door behind slowly. He looked here and there keeping his hands on his hips. I have got to do a lot of searching.' After nearly searching for 15 minutes and ignoring the mess, he saw some pink cover like thing peeking out from under the bed sheet. He quickly removed the bed sheet and was glad to see her I-pad there. Finally. Now I can find something.' He tried to unlock it but all it did was ask for a password. He tried the hint. It said : One thing you cannot imagine your life without. That's easy. It should be me.' Asad blushed at the thought and entered his name in the box. A-S-A-D. Incorrect? What the hell?' He tried again. This time he typed M-R-K-H-A-N. But nah. It was still INCORRECT. He tried everyone's name. Aapi, Jiju, Ammi, Najma. But still it didn't unlock. Then there was another hint flashing on the screen. It said : The password consists of 5 letters. Am I playing some kind of treasure hunt here? Cant this thing just tell me the password instead of giving hints and let me unlock it?' He looked around the room and then his eyes fell on the side table. He calculated something in his mind. Yes! It's Pizza!' He typed P-I-Z-Z-A in the box and the I-pad showed him the wallpaper. He saw it and smiled. It was a photo of His and Zoya's also with Najma and Ammi. He touched the screen lovingly and by mistake the slam book app opened. He was reluctant at first but then decided to read it. He opened her page and began reading it.

The first question was:

1) My real name is _______

Huh? Why would anyone hide their real name from someone? Stupid question .'

2) My friends call me _______

This is something I need to know. Oh so her friends call her Zoe, Zee, Princess. Wait. Princess? Why would her friends call her princess? Never mind.

3) I studied at _______

Ermm... She studied at Stanford University. Oh my God. Zoya studied at NY's best university for computer engineering. This makes me all the more proud of her.'

4) The best moment of my life _______

Nothing right now I can think of. But I am sure the best moment of my life will be when my nikaah happens.'

Asad was going to read the next but he heard the door knob move. He quickly closed the app and kept the I-pad on the bed. Zoya entered to find Asad in the room looking here and there. "What?" She gestured with her hands. "Nothing. Came to see how much you are done with your packing. It seems you have started." He taunted. "If you have a problem with the way I keep my things, why come to my room?" "Ermm... excuse me. This is what you call keeping things? Normal people call it throwing things." Asad said picking up a pillow and placing it on the bed. "You just called me abnormal. Didn't you? Mr. AAK." She said standing on the bed. "No no you got it all wrong Ms. Farooqui. I didn't call you abnormal, I called you.. err... Yes yes Unique. I called you unique." He tried to get her down from the bed. "You listen Mr Asad Ahmed Khan. Don't you dare try to fool me. I am not stupid. Okay?" She pointed a finger at him. Hearing this commotion, Najma came there to handle the matter. "SILENCEEE." Najma screamed. Asad and Zoya both kept quiet and looked in her direction. "Zoya get down from the bed now and Bhaijaan you get out of the room before Zoya starts. Zoya please start with your packing soon and yeah before that try to clean your room. There is no place to walk too. Asad bhaijaan concentrate on the quiz you needed time for. It's 5 already." She breathed after that. Zoya and Asad were afraid and did just as Najma said. Keep it up Najma. You are doing well. You should spend more time with them. Handling these two kids is not an easy job. Wonder what will happen when the quiz will start. Both will start bickering like always.' Najma praised herself.

Asad was pacing in his room. 'Just 2 hours left. What am I gonna do?' He kept on looking at his watch. 'This plan worked but upto some extent. I have to think of something else.'

Vaah! Acha bahana hai, "Packing check karne.." 😆 loved his taunts they were very funny! 😆 and the way he couldnt control picking the pillow up and placing it on the bed! 🤣
