A much needed post! Fan groups need to calm down because not everyone of the TRP audience are fans of the actors. I'm not a big fan of the actors from the show but I do like the characters, and if I watch something its because of the storyline & the characters growth.

I'm so glad that they are finally getting to Zoya-Ghafoor storyline now [after like a year and a bit!] & that's one of the reasons why I've begun to watch Qubool Hai again. Also, with the introduction of Haider, I thought he was an interesting character because of his multi-layers; and his relation with Humera. I thought he was a much needed character to boost Humera's spirits after the Ayaan chapter and I like that he's a potential revenge seeker of Razia's. [These days I actually like Humera-Haider scenes!]

And about RaQesh - I think he's doing well as Asad. The look he has it sorted, but maybe he can work out the voice. Whenever I see him from the back, I somehow imagine him to be KSG. PS. I like the hair. 😃

So yeah, fan groups do need to calm down because whether they support an actor or not, doesn't matter because at the end of the day, it's the TRP that makes and breaks a show.

This is utter non sense to think that KSG was the sole reason for the success.. i can not deny the fact that he was best when it came to playing ASAD. But this doesnt give any one right to bash, criticize fellow memers and start manipulating entire forum..

I am seriously thinking where are the mods???? When they hv sweared that they will never ever watch QH and will not contribute to forum activity why in god's name create such posts???

As far as Riddi is concerned she should simply keep her twitter / facebook /any other social media account in suspended mode as whatever she will do will get bashed!!!

yea it would have flopped had the story been a flop.. may be i am wrong about who has a bigger fandom.. probably yea, over all KSG has a bigger following.. but i think at least in IF, Sanaya and Barun has a bigger fandom.

i can give another example. Drashti is another actress who has a big fandom and even vivian has.. but madhubala succeeded mainly because of its story and execution and some other factors as well.. once story became haywire,many left the show and its TRP's are no longer good..even great chemistry between Vivian and Drashti doesn't help much now.😊

Sensible post written in a nice way.

Muslim background of QH is also one of the major factors, that's the reason even during it's worst phase it didn't have TRPs below 2.0.

Good episodes. good execution led to the rise in TRPs. If a show airs on a popular channel & is good it will get good TRPs howsoever tough the competition in the time slot may be.

There were many reasons which led to the drop in TRPs. And if the CVs make the same mistake again in the future, the TRPs will drop again.

And yeah no actor is greater than a show. I swear I didn't watch a single episode of CC despite me being a SI fan. 😆 IT is the same for all the actors & all the shows.

sorry i don't think the way yu think SI was never a bigger star then Ksg is n right now they r showing twists bcoz they know the hero is new n chem is needed raqesh is trying but as asad he isn't doing so great thats y CV's r kinda showing twist n story then without story also many shows run n i will believe that the show is bigger then ksg if it runs till September n m honest n frank in wat i feel i saw the show for ksg as he was super as asad n for zoya who was also superb n for their chem

I'm not being bad but in your main points (the numbered ones) you gave points which seem to show everything but Raqesh improved the trps, but you didn't consider that Raqesh could be a reason for the improvement. I know you mentioned a bit about him later, but for the majority it seems you wanted to show that Raqesh didn't have any impact on the trps.

I think it's just as bad to assume Raqesh didn't have an impact on the trps, as it is to assume he is the sole reason of the increase in trps.

I personally stopped watching the show closely a very long time ago, mainly after Tanveer seemed to have become the lead of the show. I watched bits and bobs and read the written updates. When I heard KSG was leaving I was intrigued as to how Raqesh would do, plus I like him as an actor anyway, so I thought I'd watch the show a bit to see how he is as Asad. I also thought the writers will be terrified of losing fans and thus would move the story forward, and that is happening, and so thought it's worth giving the show a chance now, as something might actually happen, and I think a lot of people thought the same.

The show is still lacking it's spark, but at least it's moving forward. One actor doesn't make a show, and can't break a show, but an actor can influence the audience. Some KSG fans have stopped watching the show, and I don't think that can be ignored, just like it can't be ignored that the show might have gained fans in Raqesh fans.
