I was pleasantly impressed by RV's BASS!!! his acting and dialogue delivery were top class at this point and he portrayed certain subtleties such as shivering posture due to overwhelming anger and intensity in the eyes very well. However, I felt his voice was a little on softer side than required for the scene but I hope he will improve on that with time. Subliminally I might be comparing with old Asad, which might have clouded my sensibilities in appreciating Raquesh style Asad to the fullest. Camera angles were great but the impact would have been better if the scene was shown continuously instead of being shown in 2 parts with interruption of Haider and Humaira scene.

I too was wondering about the wardrobe change, due to replacement, face and voice of Asad is understandably different but what was the need to change the colors of his clothes? Purple color was not bad but would prefer to see Asad in blacks and greys.

PS: As Asad's existing wardrobe do not fit Raqesh and new wardrobe that fits him is not ready, which might have prompted Raqesh to use his own clothes until new wardrobe is ready and he don't own any blacks and greys? 😆

For him to get into a full Asadian groove as u put it, we need to have more than just the angry and vengeful scenes. He needs to have an emotional chat with his mom. Some alone time with Zoe. There are many layers to Asad and unless they are all explored RV will not get the gist of Asad.

Yes, RV does look good in purple. Wish they had experimented colours on Asad post Ajmer. Yes...the color of love in his life would have been nice.

Saw the pic you are referring. The sideways glance and the mischievious look are 👍🏼. Yes...it was too cute.

Also saw the promo. Good one. Time for wraps I guess. Mat bolo yeh. I really don't want QH to end.

But if they wrap up, hope they come up with season 2 only with Khan Mansion and keep it on the lighter side with no melodrama. .I don't want season. Is there anything else good on TV that I can take up?

Watching a rerun of Sarabhai during weekend, makes me yearn for some good comic relief. I love sarabhai and khichdi was too good too. We need more of those shows.

The softness of voice...are you referring to the pitch? Then that could be intentional since sometimes, the cold menancing voice is softer pitch. But otherwise maybe his voice is just not as heavy as Asad V1.0

I hated the editing too, it was taking away from my viewing experience. They need to do one scene at a time.

Otherwise I agree with ur post. He was good and whether we are doing it or not consciously, at some level in our subconscious we do compare. I have stopped thinking how Asad V1.0 would have done the scene, but the little things like the use of the full hand and not just the finger when saying bas, gets noticed.

I think u r right about the wardrobe thing. But did they not get enough time to redo the wardrobe between the signing and the shooting. I believe they had a week or so. Honestly, I don't mind the wider range of colors myself, coz love can do wonders.😉 Plus RV looked good in that color.
