Thanks a ton everyone for appreciation. The worst part about this fiasco is that I am going to miss this forum and members in it. We will hopefully bump into each other in some new forum soon. Lets keep in touch, taking forward our craziness and love for drama:)

A fine appraisal of the situation ..in QH and more importantly in the Indian television industry . Glad you had it placed in the correct space . It will give exposure and let all concerned know the plight of those who are involved in this industry..the actors, techies,PH and most of all we the viewers.
The strings are firmly in the CH's grip and they are almost always taking everyone for granted.
Things need to alter and I can see the winds of change with viewers no longer accepting the fare dished out in serial after serial. Gone are the days when we dare not complain . If we dared to we were told ...use the remote and move on !!! Move where ? As all shows were equally melodramatic and regressive.
With courage shown by actors of the calibre of KSG, Rajeev Khandelwal,Anil Kapoor for taking the plunge to produce and act in a closed ended serial'24' and audience that is becoming more vocal with their protests , the script is changing fast. It is not far when channels will be induced to stop behaving like the Czars of TV ..totally uncaring of anyone.

Looking forward to more dissent as well as positive comments on various forums to highlight the problem.

Agree , good article, totally agree that no one party to blame and some share falls on the actor too but there was too much slandering by the channel.

As fans we all loved Asya, loved karan as Asad, never knew he existed before ,so it will be impossible to,see any other as Asad.

It will,be difficult to see him in other roles too.

Hope they get him back or at least kabhi come together again.

Amazing !!
Couldn't have said it better . Addressed all points the way it should . You technically added salt to the wound with a drop of honey . Each line hit hard and for those whose garden it fell in .. Well they must be looking for fingers to point because they already used up their given 10 .

Thankss guys for the comments here and on the article. BTW how was Qubool Hain today, did Raquesh make an entry?

I saw Rang Rasiya, so far so good. Anyway I have decided I am going to quit watching all serials after 6 months:) Its the best strategy.

Absolutely wonderful article! You hit the nail right on the head.

I believe that instead of production houses and channels chasing after longevity, through which they put at stake the creativity and essence of the show, they need to look at adapting a different format. Create a show with a fixed number of episodes and a locked script. Even if it only last a few months, or a year, at least as the audience we get to see good quality stuff. 24 is a perfect example of that. There is also a show on life Ok called Tumhari Paakhi which is following a similar format, it is only a 4-5 month show with a locked script and honestly that makes a huge difference. The writing is crisp, the characters stay true to themselves and the pace of the show is perfect.

I love four lions because they are geniuses when it comes to creating strong leads and creating sizzling chemistry between them. Right from Geet, to IPK to QH. Unfortunately however, these shows have also caused a lot of disheartening to fans because after getting so attached towards such beautiful characters, everything falls apart midway :(.

I will certainly miss Asad Ahmed Khan and Qubool hai, but I wish Karan Singh Grover all the best. More importantly, my best wishes and love are with Surbhi Jyoti, an extremely talented actress who is a victim of unfortunate circumstances.
