@bold - it would seem like they dont care that he is gone at all. They have fired him haven't they. If they wanted him to stay you can be sure there wouldn't be any mudslinging and there would be some politically correct statements flying around. My guess - Mr.Grover grovelled, failed and has then issued a statement late last night to save face. Well, I am sure amongst his fans he has managed to but it's not them he needs to convince it's other channel execs and Phs. Good luck to him because I am willing to bet he won't be around for some time now if at all.

You are pretty sure he's at fault, and that opinion can not be based on the same set of interviews, BTSs that other people have access to. Passing judgement on a guy is very easy, especially if the poor sod has been accused of something similar in the past. The difference between what happened during DMG was that he did not come out and defend himself. Possibly because at that time he was at fault. He was going through a bad personal patch and maybe he faltered in his work commitments. When i see the guy in his interviews, he comes off as very grounded. But then again i possibly don't have as deep insight into his behavioral problems as you have.

I, for one, know that Karan has Bollywood aspirations and there is nothing wrong with that.. But the way he went about to get it was not the best... I have always questioned his credibility and this makes me question it even more... wasn't he the one saying I will do QH for 4-5 years, my work come first, etc, etc, etc, etc... Fact is, Karan is a charmer.. He is good at charming his way through and convince his fans in that way... And frankly I don't think Karan is a Bollywood deal... Television is what he is best at so I think its his loss as not only is he leaving a show which gave him so much scope but also, he has made a bad impression of himself...

As I said before, the show as a whole itself is much bigger than a section of it (Karan)... QH and AsYa to be more specific, has ended for me a while back... I always rooted for the story .. Not the actors or characters... But the story... That, itself, does not exist for me anymore... Frankly, this KaBhi thing was never in my best interest... Yes, Karan was a good Asad till July (when he started growing his hair) and Surbhi was an amazing Zoya till all the horrible cheesy tracks started where I saw her only ham... But, frankly, the actors did not matter... Anyways, its a serial... and ultimately, it will prove to be Karan's loss
