IMP : Suggestion Regarding FF in the Forum

Hi Dear QH-ians,

We are back and as the title suggests, its regarding Fan Fictions in the forum. Its well known that QH forum is a very active forum and pages flies within seconds, we are here with a suggestion and we would like to find out everyone's input on the same. Recently we had a number of members informing us that they are unable to find regular posts on the show since FF threads are dominating the first few pages of the forum making it difficult for them to navigate through the pages for posts on the show. Hence the Dev Team is suggesting to introduce the 15 Pages Fan Fiction rule whereby this rule was also previously imposed in active forums ex : DMG/MJHT/Geet/IPKKND.

How this would work? Once a Fan Fiction reaches 15 pages, it would be moved to the Fan Fiction Forum. However you may PM us to to update the FF Index List with the latest link of your FF once its moved to the Fan Fiction forum.

So, Basically this is our suggestion which we are offering to everyone and we would like to know your feedback on this. If we have a majority of people agreeing to this, we shall soon introduce the 15 Page Fan Fiction rule in the forum for a cleaner forum.

But Then i guess It will REDUCE the forum activity A LOT

I don't want this Pls.. Don't move FF's to FF forum.. let it be here in QH forum only

Noo please dont move them :) Its easier to find FFs here than finding in FF section. Moreover FF section has tooo manyy FFs of other shows. It is harder and waste of time to look for FFs over there. It will be problems for FF writers tooo. It will also reduce the forum activity as well. Let the FFs stay here PLEASE :)

Dear QH DT,

This is an excellent initiative and one I honestly appreciate.Most of the WUs on the QH forum add a lot of value to the show by providing interesting analysis.They also plug the many loopholes left by the CVs in the narration.

I would two suggestions and would be happy if accepted.

1.Create a separate box for the FF,SS,Os etc as you have for (a)Global announcements(b)QH forum topics.This would really help to segregate and organize the content better as some of the creative writing is commendable and requires focus.

2.Would it be possible to identify mature content on FF, OS ,SS etc ? Maybe colour coding as used in classifying members or asterisks.

You can keep them on the QH forum ..do not remove them from the page ..just put them in a separate box .

I believe this will increase the activity and not reduce it as many want to interact on discussions on the serial and these get obscured by the creative writing . Please do not get me wrong ..some creative writing is good but honestly segregation would be welcome .

No. Please Dont. That will indirectly affect the Forum Activity and it will be highly difficult for any reader to relocate the other parts of any FF especially when the Fiction completes more than a thread or a two.

Also, theoretically, A Short Story is Different from A Fan Fiction 😆

So please dont do so :P

I'm completely against this idea!

Not only will it drastically lower the forum activity but it will be a huge problem for all the FF readers and writers!

FF Forum has the fanfictions of every serial, every couple how in the world are we supposed to find the FF we like over there? It will be like searching for a needle in a stack of hay.

Normal posts are very few here, plus more than half of the forumwasis are still here just to read fanfictions or update fanfictions (I'm saying more than half not everyone)

If it's possible please do not send Fanfictions to the Fanfiction forum. Not to mention the writers will lose many of their readers and they might not even want to continue the FFs!

Hope you understand the plight of the writers n readers as well!

If the FF's are moved out of the forum I believe the forum activity will further decrease... I would say that let the fictions stay within the QH forum itself..😊
