I am an American and New Yorker too but I believe strong women exist all over the world not just confined to a country. I do travel due to work and do have family around the world and did see regressive and progressive women co existing in both developed and third world countries. All I am saying is that we do have all types of women/ people ( regressive and progressive) across the globe, percentages may vary but stereo typing people or women based on their location may not be fair or true. You are entitled to your opinion and I respectfully agree to disagree that progressiveness or regressiveness is defined by location of an individual.

I don't defend anyone in particular and I talk only for myself...I have made a lot of Asad bashing post when it was required...and the slap and the trading is all past...if we keep bringing that up..we will never be able to get over the bias against Asad...if one is hell bent on proving him wrong...how do I argue...he was wrong when he slapped her..wrong when he forced her...and u are in ASR fan as per what u said...but I know ASR threw Khushi off the first floor...sorry dude...ASR to me was sick...and Asad is miles ahead...If u have to hold his previous behavior against him...this argument is totally pointless...I judge people from how they got better...not for what they were...😊...

Wht on the world is going on here😕, are we on a blaming/bashing game😆...
I agree with you that zoya will never be his 1st priority, but why should she?

Just answer me 1 thing, if you ever have to choose between your boyfriend or your mother who give birth to you, introduce you to the world, who taught you how to talk, walk, laugh, who carried you in her womb for freaking 9 months, who went through so much just to bring you to the world. Who would you choose? Who would you prioritize 1st?

For me, no matter how wrong my mother is? No matter how stupid or irritating or annoying or stubborn etc etc she is?😆She'll alway be my first priority😳. Because if she wasn't there in the first place thn I wouldn't have been here today typing shits😆

I'm not defending anyone here, I'm just trying to say why are you making this forum a war zone😕. We all will prioritize our mother before anyone, don't we? 🥱

Just because she pleads and he for once wants to think about himself and humself only..he is a bad guy...

She may have his best interests at heart...but who is she to shove Rashid down Asad's throat...she should have let him go...just because woh uske bhale ke liye bol rahi hai doesn't make Asad the villain here...his parents abandoned him...if u ask me...Zoe should be the last thing on his mind

If he has traded her...she must leave him ASAP...I have no clue why she stays with him

Just answer me something Shruti...would you defend Ayaan if he would trade Humeira? Exactly my point Shruti... and that is my question too...how can they portray a educated progressive American woman who is very much aware of her rights can still live with a man who has traded her. This is unbelievable and today's episode has extremely angered me where yet again this woman has been insulted and rebuked.

I am sure if one day he'll even end his life for Zoya, you'd say his own death was his priority more than Zoya? So no point making you see something you don't want to see.

I am entirely team AsYa in this and hence I do not want to say a word against either in this scenario. But if you're accusing Asad of not choosing her, did Zoya choose him ? Did she choose their Nikaah over Najma? Going with him to NY over his parents? Choose to understand his POV in this or give him a chance to talk? NO. If she can have her own mind, why cant Asad? Is he here only to be of help to everyone and listen to every thing the others say and never be heard himself?

It is sad that you could see the NO to her plead, but not his smile when she said she needed him, and the plea in his eyes when he wanted her to just say SHE needed him, not his abbu.

Zabardast u take my words
And yes tab kya that jab soya sm family ka such such kar asad k with khan Vila
Jane k lye such rahi this DAT was as ad who dare
And yesss plz we are asya fans so don't create difference 😲😡

For me...it seems that they still have not come to 'term' with their 'relationship' where both need to discuss and talk about it before they make any desicion.

Relationship is always about both parties; communication is still missing in their relationship...sad but true...😭

I am sorry but the TM has always mentioned how Zoya can be this way or that way, or react in a particular being a woman from NY? If she only means an educated and progressive woman she need not be terming her as a NY citizen in the first place.A woman is a woman all over the world.

Y should Asad only make Zoya his priority when she puts the whole world before him ! She was the one who left him on the nikaah day that led to him asking her to stay by ayaan Bcoz of his sister ! When he did that Zoya got angry that at him ! And now when she asks him not to go Bcoz of his parents isn't she doing the same thing ! Asads only priority is zoya ! But zoya has a whole world of issues b4 him !

rapunzale, i think i understand your problem. you dont like asad so whatever he may do or not do, you are never going to like him or see his point of view. i understand that if you do not like a character, you cannot like him even if the whole world likes him or even if he becomes a saint, you would still dislike asad. i understand because i feel the same way about zoya. i dislike her, and whatever happens , whatever she does, i am never going to like her.bias against a partcular character can happen and if so admit it.
and btw, i do not agree with your ideas of zoya being very progressive just because she is from new york. that statement reeks of snobbery.
