That was her lame excuse to get off from accepting her mistake...well whatever the case...I did not see it...her TRPs took a hit...I am happy...though I hope her epic ZoYaan starts making sense someday...😆
Whatever she started could not be finished..thanks to Ayan taking a hike...
These are setbacks, Shruti... She did leave it open ended with the wrong name at the community nikah and Raz's 'yeh bahu kisiko bhi munh dikhane layak nahi rahegi'...so obviously, it was not supposed to end the way it did...and the director had said in one BTS that Ayan will unite AsYa finally...did not happen...a lot happened there that we don't know about..will never know too..Haider was not in the cards when Zoyaan started, I guess...that took up a lot of their creativity in that Zoyaan track. This is the same pattern that we saw when Barun left IPK...things started making less sense.
Can she take it up again? Yes, she can...but we don't know what Gul has in her mind. May be she prefers to bury the Zoyaan track forever...leaving it unanswered...like Vash pointed out.
This is the story teller who thought of making a widow out of Khushi...for the sake of the entire team that wanted the show to go on...
I have one q to Gul n Sanaya...
"How did they even in their wildest dreams think about going forward, kiling off an iconic character like ASR?" Unbelievable...but they would have pulled it off, if not for some crazy fans! But thanks to those crazy fans, IPK still lives in the memories as a legend that simply touched the lives of a million people...sounds crazy, doesn't it?😆

Somewhere along the line, we start living her characters...when an Asad or Zoya or Khushi or ASR remain just wonderful fictional characters to the makers and the actors...they are so much more real to us viewers...I hope one day Gul gets it.😳 But her first priority as a Producer is providing for the 80 people working in a project...the show must go on.
