Shona there was time I did not like fantasy/magical movies...but that has changed. I will watch them over any bollywood movie..

I found LOTR - FOTR amazing 😃. I haven't read the book though

di i don't watch bollywood movies either except some which are really good...
i guess m just not a movie person😆😆😆

BTW shru don't you have all the movies downloaded?i mean i am not a fan still i have LOTR and all the HP movies😆😆

I love the series...its cinematic brilliance. I saw some footage of how they shot the long distance shots of the actors crossing the mountains and all...it is brilliant work...

I haven't read the books either. I tried but I could not continue beyond the 5th page. Also, Peter Jackson has done a very good adaptation hence its not required to read the books.

But with HP, Disney killed the movies. They went for box office collections and decided to leave out some pieces of the book that turned out to be important in later parts. Plus I hated how book 3 was adapted. There was no consistency between the books and the movies.

I don't watch movies either. I watch them once I have read reviews and heard good things about them.😃

HP was still better Rivs. IMO the worst adaptation was Da Vinci Code. I loved the book and went to see the movie with a lot of expectations but was highly disappointed. I was also disappointed with The Client and The Pelican Brief and I loved John Grisham books. But these movies weren't half as bad as Da Vinci Code. It looked like they were going page by page. There was no flow to the story.
