Religious Tolerance. 😉
The beauty of QH is that they show Muslims celebrating Hindu holidays. Nothing wrong with that. Its a beautiful message.

There's nothing wrong in what they're showing. They're brought up in India... you're definitely influenced by the the culture you're brought up. Participating in such events isn't wrong..

I'm a Sikh, born and raised in Canada.. i celebrate Christmas, thanksgiving and other events that has nothing to do with my religion.

My Muslim friends participate in any of my family cultural events and I do the same.

I really do appreciate the way the creative heads portrayed the khan family.

The family is situated in secular India and so I find it beautiful that the producers are showing the cultural and religious tolerance. Dilshaad and the others aren't necessarily taking part in their prayers but rather just celebrating the lighting festivals with them. Similar to how I'm sure for Asad's celebration party, not everyone was Muslim. I'm also a resident of New York and I view this as how I celebrate Christmas with my friends by giving presents and such, but that doesn't mean I'm doing anything wrong as a Muslim (:

It is just celebrating diwali with their neighbors in India. In fact I liked that, a little tolerance will not hurt anyone. It is not like they went to a temple. And even if they did go what is wrong in that. I am a Hindu and have gone and have bowed and prayed in many a mosque and churches it did not destroy my religion in any way.

I don't think it is so much religious tolerance here. Diwali is when the good win over the evil and when Ram fought against the evil for India , he was not fighting for one religion but for the whole nation of India.😉😉
