Today's episode marked the beginning of the much awaited reunion of Asad and Zoya, but in my opinion, today's episode entirely belonged to AAK .
Today we have seen the emergence of an Asad we have never seen before.. but if we think deeply this was inevitable, from the time Asad met Zoya and fell in love with her - he has been changing... love changed him.
Asad - Najma and Tanveer:
1.Tanveer was for a long time Asad's closest friend and the girl whom he trusted over Zoya at a point of time...but today he did not hesitate to humiliate her and expose her infront of the religious community leaders.. Tanveer of course did not leave him with a choice.
But would the AAK of earlier days done this this way? i doubt
2.Instead of protecting his little sister Najma , whom he had protected like a shield all these days ( remember how he threatened to go to college everyday with Najma when some guys teased her?) ,from a truth which would shatter her completely, he choose to disclose the truth to her and let her face the harsh reality of the world.
Would he have done this earlier? or would he have done this even few days back before at the time when he asked Zoya to go to SM as Ayaan's wife, for the sake of nikhat.. no he would have sacrificed himself and his love and shielded his own sister Najma as well..
But is it right to sacrifice one's own self and happiness this way? AAK has definitely learnt some life lessons even in these few days and the importance of his love for the woman he loves.
3.Today Asad easily understood Imran's position and forgave him.. of course it has a lot to do with him being in a similar position with Tanveer earlier.
But still, would the tehzeeb and tameez loving AAK accepted such a thing this easily earlier and forgive the person involved?
Asad - Zoya:
The tehzeeb and tameez loving AAK today decided that he cannot live even two seconds without his love anymore and went straight to SM and declared in front of everyone that Zoya is only his and he has come to take away Zoya.
Its ironic that not long before that he had told his sister that he knows that there is a right time and right way of disclosing something and asked her forgiveness for disclosing her husbands truth in front of the society.
But then again today for a second time, he did not give a heed to his own wise words, when soon after that he went to SM and declared his love for Zoya... he could have waited till the two days Zoya asked were over and could have waited for a better time.
Love has indeed conquered him and changed him.
"Is gar aur is gar ki logon ki izzat ko, kamse kam meri wajah se kuch nahin hona chahiye.."
Zoya who has learnt to respect elders and value relationships declared this to Ayaan, and the moment she said that enters her lover claiming her as his love without giving a heed to the izzat of that house and its people.
This indeed is a very significant scene.
Zoya doesn't know it but its her father, her aunt and her sister who is there in that house and so even if that house people including her father has never accepted her, as the daughter she is still entitled to protect the izzat of that house.
But when Asad came and declared his love, as evident from the precap, she obviously forgot the words she uttered few minutes back and went away holding Asad's hand.
Why did Zoya do that? again its love.. even for Zoya nothing and no relationship matters more than Asad.. so when Asad came and told everyone that he has come to take her away, she would not remember anything other than the fact that Asad was there.
But obviously this is not going to go well with the people of SM, and in future when Ghaffur truth comes out, Zoya has to face a lot for this act.
But more than Zoya, Asad is going to get the blame for 'khandaan ki izzat mitti mein milane ki'
The black sheep (symbolic of black vest ) of the family has emerged and taken away the izzat of the family.
But so what... today AAK and Zoya Farooqui has realized that each other is the most important person for them.đ
