I kinda wish Asad had seen the empty look in Rohan's eyes, but then again, I guess it'll come later, I'm sure you have it planned out :)

I wonder if Rohan's stomach issue has to do with why he was there, in Bhopal, and sneaking away. Maybe he's sick? Or maybe someone is drugging him? Unlikely, since he's staying at the KV, but you never know. Rohan took three hard punches to his stomach last night. He has to cover for why that hurt and why his abdomen is bruised.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the conversation between Zoya and Ayaan, especially with Asad's reactions, and AsYa's conversation after she hung up with Raabart. So sweet, and intense, yet meaningful. You have such an incredible way with words. I still loved the last chapter more, but that's cause I'm a sucker for AsYa angst, but this was good, typing up loose ends. This is an adventure story - I have to keep up the pace!

I wasn't at all surprised that Asad already knew Najma was involved, but I'm glad to see Ayaan wanting to own up to his share of the blame, or rather his part in helping Zoya. And man does he know her well, in a short time, knowing that she hadn't told Asad about him helping her.

I still cringe a tad when he calls her musibat, but I like that you show Zoya not paying it much mind now. It would certainly still bug me, but then I'm not Zoya lol. He was sweet and caring for her when he said it. He didn't mean it as an insult. She IS trouble, but she's his trouble.

And I'm glad you showed Asad realize how much his words can have an effect on her, with the filing storage system. I wonder if it relates to Rohan, and someone in Asad's office, or if it's something to do with a sequel to this perhaps :D In general, everything having to do with the file storage system is setup for GHOST IN THE MACHINE. I couldn't wait until that story to put in the clues. Readers would wonder why it took them so long to start thinking/figuring things out. So I have to present clues and details now to make it flow naturally.

Anyway, waiting for the next chapter anxiously! 😳

I deserve everything I have...especially Zoya

This is a very important point, I think. Asad has always worried that the people he loves might leave him. He knows he's worked hard to provide for and protect Zoya. He should feel secure that she'll never leave him and he deserves her love. He would't be able to open up to her if he had any doubts about the strength of her - and their - commitment.

And now that Asad knows how Zoya feels as well, he is never gonna her go or feel alone again. He said as much when he told Rohan that he will not allow Zoya to feel uncomfortable in HER own home.

And I LOVED the lion and tiger analogy in the car! For me, it was a subtle way of Asad saying that he will never let Rohan get the better of them and also, it highlighted the difference between the 2 Asads. The one on the show and the one in your story. The QH asad is a lion, but your Asad is definitely a tiger! More predatory and ready to go in for the kill when someone makes the wrong move. Which is what Rohan is soon gonna do i guess!

I'm very surprised readers have responded so well to the "Asad as a tiger" analogy. I was prepared to defend myself as I thought readers wanted to think of Asad as a lion. It really wasn't my idea - it came from the QH writers. Zoya called Asad 'a smart tiger' when she and Ayaan were plotting to keep Asad away from his Abbu's trial. That struck me as odd so I did the research and Zoya was right! Asad is more of a tiger - strong, alone, fierce - than he is a lion.
