This was the doing of the great Ekta mai in another one of Zee's master piece. Kasamh Se.

Jai and Pia were the OTP, but his chemistry was better with Bani and so last minute the two got married (change from original plan). Bani was to marry the guy Pia ended up with. But since original story had Pia having an ONS with her own BIL, intended to be Pushkar, Ekta and Zee went ahead with it. It was much much worse than the accidental Nikah.

And they used the "we were on a break" to justify the ONS, since OTP's had just signed divorce papers, but were still very much in love. It was Karwa Chauth too...can you believe it?

If you ever want to see good drama and acting, watch the first 6-7 months of KS. Or maybe I will post you some scene on the CC to get an idea of how good the show was before the stupid EGO of the makers played a role.

I've also wowed never to see another Hindi serial again. They are all the same. Most of them start beautifully and then the story gets murdered and the characters get messed up to a point of no return.

I was never ok with Zoyaan and even thot they changed the story to rule out Zoyaan after establishing AsYa so beautifully for 11 months which wd've been perfectly ok. Even with Tannu around and no Zoyaan the story wd've progressed beautifully IMO. Of course Tannu overstaying was not acceptable to many fans including me but CVs cd've ended her character and moved on with the story. It was upto the CVs how they showed the raaz (Ghaffur and Rashid) being revealed. Now my question is was it really necessary for Zoya to get into SM at all for the raaz to reveal? Zoyaan se kya mila? Babaju ka thullu?

@bold-humlog ek hi naiyaa mein savaar hai behan i was also never ok with zoyaan...had i had a clues about original synopsis i would ahve never watched QH...

i watch 8 engilsh serails and m happy with that...they make me relax nd not cry myself to sleep

I too used to love KS. I thot the treatment of the story was good. The flow was good as well. Then after one year it was a complete mess. Story went fm east to west, characters were butchered and then it was a point of no return with no hope whatsoever.

Most serials are good for a maximum period of one year. That's what I've noticed and 12 months is anyways my limit for any Hindi serial so far.

As Shru said earlier Hum log, Buniyaad, Sarabhai vs sarabhai were masterpieces. Shru I'd like to add Yeh jo hai zindagi and Tamas (mini-series) to that list.
