I don't think that Asad called Ayan the night before. He would've told Ayan what happened who would've told Ayan to explain to Zoya why he didn't come to pick her up. It was good to see Ayan calming Zoya down and possibly lying to Zoya about the phone call.
Do you think Asad called Ayan?
