WHAT COULD HAPPEN... (Assumption Zoya back at KV)
After the failure of Jailhouse Rock with Asad, Tanveer will play the next card that she has up her sleeve, maybe duppatta... whereever... with Tanveer you will never know, where she pulls her stuff from. 😳
Tanveer will hit at another of Asad's soft corner... Najma with the Imran-baby truth.
Tanveer will go to the Imam and tell him that she is pregnant with Imran's baby. The Imam, knowing Dilshad & Asad, will call on Asad privately to let him know of this.
Asad is shocked. Zoya walks in then to see Asad in a shocked state and she asks the Imam had happened. But the Imam is uncomfortable about speaking of this to Zoya.
Asad looks at Zoya and then recalls her mentioning Tanveer and Imran names when she returned on the day of their nikaah.
Asad takes Zoya aside and tells her what the Imam divulged about Imran and Tanveer. Zoya with tears in her eyes comfirms that it is true and then relates why she left on the nikaah and what she had seen transpiring between Tanveer and Imran. She was about to say more but stopped (Zoya being Zoya].
Asad saw her hesitating to continue, grasped her shoulders, shook her slightly and asked, "Aur phir, Ms.Farooqui".
Zoya seeing Asad getting annoyed, said: "Kuch nayi, Mr.Khan"
Asad was going to pursue the matter. Just then the Imam coughed.
Realizing they were not alone, Asad let go of Zoya and said, "We shall pursue this later".
Asad then told Imam that he would like to pursue this further. He told the Imam how Tanveer tried put the blame on her pregnancy with Asad, now she is trying this with Imran. He asked if the Imam can keep this situation quiet until Asad finds out the actual truth. The Imam agrees.
Asad spoke of his plan of finding who the actual father is to Imam.
Asad said that he would like a DNA test on the baby if its safe for the baby to do so but without the Tanveer knowing of it. Asad asked the Imam if he knew of a trustworthy elderly woman who could convince Tanveer to go for a full checkup during which they could get samples for the test. The Imam agreed with the plan and said he would come back to Asad the next day and gets up to go.
Asad escorts the Imam to the door and absentmindedly walks to the kitchen to get a glass of water.
He thinks to himself, "I must have a man-to-man talk with Imran. I will call him to the office tomorrow to find out Imran's side of the story".
He pours himself a glass and turns to go to his room. He sees Zoya slowly trying to slink in to her room. And then he remembers.
He raises his voice: "Miss Farooqui, I have not forgotten"
Zoya upon hearing his voice exclaimed, "Ya Allah, Mr.Khan mujhe dekha" and ran to her room and bolted the door after her.
Asad tried opening the door and realized that she had bolted the door.
He knocks and says, "Ms. Farooqui, open the door. You have not told me all that happened that night"
Zoya; "Mr.Khan, I'm tired. I will speak with you later".
Asad sternly: "Ms. Farooqui..."
Just Dilshad walks and sees Asad standing out Zoya's door exasperated and shakes her head with a smile. "Ya Allah, these two will never grow up. When will they stop their quarrels?"
Dilshad to Asad: "Asad, what is going on? Why are always after the poor bechari?"
Asad irritated: "Ammi, Woh bechari nahi hai. Ask her to come out."
Zoya hearing Dilshad's voice: "Puphi, tell Mr.Khan I am tired and want to rest.
Dilshad: "I am not getting into one of your arguments. You guys sort it out on your own. I;m going up to my room. Call me if you need anything". And she leaves.
Asad knocked on Zoya's door: "Ms. Farooqui, I promise I will not get angry nor matter what. I promise". and then softly: "Please open the door".
Zoya opens the door and runs to the other side of the room.
Asad walks in, looks at her and walks up to her and gently asks.
"What did happen that night, Zoya? How did you end up at the marriage event? Don't you think I have a right to know".
Zoya looked down. Asad gently raised Zoya's face by placing his fingers under his chin. He waited for Zoya to look at him.
Zoya slowly raised her eyelids and looked at Asad and saw the pleading look in his eyes and hesistantly she recounted the incident.
Asad listened with horror as he realised Tanveer had made another attempt to kill Zoya. When Zoya reached the part where Tanveer had injected the poison into the tube, the glass in Asad's broke with the force of him clenching his hand and his fingers got caught.
The sound of the glass breaking startled Zoya and she looked down at his fingers to see blood on his fingers.
Asad brushed aside Zoya's "Mr.Khan aap ka..." and pulled her into a frantic tight hug.
Asad: "Zoya, why didn't you tell me? Why do you always want to do things on your own? What if anything had happened to you? Am I not part of your life? Am I not important enough for you to share things with me?
Zoya was shocked with his questions, "It's not that, Mr.Khan. Najma...the wedding...guests...". She tried to pull back from his embrace. But Asad refused to let go.
Asad: "Please continue..."
Zoya continued with relating the incident - how she escaped from the hospital, how she tried to escape from the goons by sitting on a vacant chair and throwing the veil over her head.
"Mr. Khan, all I can remember is that one moment I was speaking with you and the next moment I saw myself opposite Ayaan and everybody congratulating me. Both Ayaan and I, we were confused. I don't why and how Ayaan reached there. But Ayaan and I decided that this was nothing and I returned back home".
Zoya's tears was earnestly falling by now.
Asad gently wiped her tears and said," Promise me, in future, even if it is the most silliest of things, you will let me know. I might or might not get angry. But promise me, you will never, never keep anything from me.
Zoya: "I promise. Mr.Khan".
Asad hugged Zoya again... He then let her go saying with a twinkle in his eyes, "You said you were tired earlier on. Why don't you rest? I need to speak with Imran". He lifted her in his arms and placed her on the bed.
Zoya blushed : "Allah miyah, what is wrong with you? Your hand..."
Asad: "Don't move from there. There's broken glass. I will clean it up. My hand is ok". He turns to leave the room to get a broom to clean the room
Okay
Am tired... didn't think this would be this long...
I am not happy that in the episode, no one wants to know what really happened and I just wanted to get it off my chest. 😊
