Chapter -2 "Angry Young Man"

Zoya Siddique was way pretty than any woman he had seen 4.5 years ago when he first saw her. But over the years her beauty was beyond comparison to anyone. ASAD knew he has fallen for her again. She looked like the most beautiful woman in this entire universe. Nobody could doubt why she was most sought after models in India. Only change he could make out was her face... Gone is the smile she used to flash with those killer dimples on her cheeks and those innocent eyes... Well they were cold and distant... He know somewhere he is responsible for it. But then Zoya was no more innocent herself... All the magazines, Gossip columns and television series had always shown her as arm candy of so many men and her link ups were everywhere on internet...

He had to remind himself he was not here to amend their broken relationship. He told himself she is everything he hates in a woman ARROGANT, CHARACTERLESS and Addicted to power. With a sad smirk he was thinking exactly why is he here?? and how she will react to the news he plans to give her??? Just then she saw him from the ramp... but she turned around to complete her walk. She again turned in half way.. This time she was directly looking at him... He could see she is shocked... He smiled at her as if he was mocking her. She turned away and went inside the stage.

Finally when the MC announced the appearance of Rohit Bal she was walking with him... again as his arm candy. This time she gave him a look... Challenging him.. Completely unexpected by him...All though out her facial expression didn't change... Same cold and distant... Nobody could have guessed he is seeing her ex fiance...

Ohh NOOO!!! She did it again... She got under his skin and she mocked him... He was furious with just her challenge through her eyes or was he furious to see her in arms of another man... So close... "Don't go there!!!! You are not some teenager madly in love!!!!" he snapped at himself. He was ASAD AHMED KHAN, Son of Rashid Ahmed Khan. He was not the one to become puppet in the hands of a woman like his father, NEVER THAT!!! Determination filled in him with these thoughts and he decided to give cold indifference to ZOYA. He composed himself and told himself, "Her all arrogance will go down the drain the moment he will deliver the bad news he was carrying. That news will blow her mind and teach her some humility"

Finally the show ended and he surged out to find ZOYA. She should be somewhere there only... But he couldn't find her. He again searched her on the stage but she was gone. "Don't tell me she disappeared in thin air", he muttered to himself.

He composed himself and went back stage to find her. He stumbled upon Ashley.

Ashley - "Who are you?? And what are you doing here??? No one is allowed back stage!!"

AAK - "Hey Can you help me?? I am looking for ZOYA Siddique."

Ashley gave him a look as if he didn't know who that was??? Then it struck ASAD and he corrected himself.

AAK - "I mean Ms. Farooqui!!! Ms. Zoya Farooqui!!!" He always wondered why Zoya changed her last name to Farooqui??

Ashley - "Why are you searching the cold hearted B#@$TH????"

ASAD suddenly felt angry and... POSSESIVE... for ZOYA... She was one reason these idiots were having jobs and getting their salaries. What kinda life ZOYA has chosen for herself??? What kind of people are surrounding her??? ASAD brushed those thoughts aside and asked Ashley, "I am in kinda hurry. Will you please direct me to Ms. Farooqui??"

Ashley - "Go straight, 2^nd door on left. That's where she has her make up room. You should find her there"

AAK - "Thanks!!!". With this he ran towards that door. When he opened it. He just found a young lady standing but ZOYA was nowhere to be seen.

Nikhat - "Excuse me???? Who are you and what are you doing backstage???? No one is allowed in here. I will call security if you don't leave right away."

AAK - "Listen, I am here to meet Ms. Sid.. Farooqui".

Nikhat - "I got that but who are you???"

AAK - "See, I have some important news to share with her. Its imp that I see her immediately"

Nikhat didn't budge. She stood there folding her arms and giving him DON'T-MESS-WITH-ME look.

"See, I am ASAD.AH..." Damn. The look on Nikhat's face changed. Her face changed from indifference to anger to cold arrogance. "So, this lady was in Zoya's good books. And She knows my role in Zoya's life and She will NEVER EVER tell me Zoya's whereabouts"

Nikhat stared at him and said, "I don't know where she is right now Mr. ASAD AHMED KHAN" stressing on his name deliberately.

AAK - "So, She knows my name. Zoya won't mention me to her (whoever she is in Zoya's life) if I didn't mean anything to Zoya"

Nikhat reading his expressions said "Don't be flattered Mr. Khan. I have not heard too good about you. The only reason I am tolerating you because this is where me and Zoya work and I don't want to make any scene here. You have already done the damage you can do to her. So please do me a favour and get the hell out of this place before I call security"

It had been 1 hour ASAD was waiting for Zoya to turn up for the success bash of Rohit's collection. But she was nowhere to be seen. "She should be here... She has to be here... This is her life... She should enter anytime with some random man as she usually does in all the parties."

ASAD was getting more irritated as every min was passing. He then gave up and called his detective Imran.

AAK - "Imran, She is not here. Where is she??? Is this the reason I pay you??? To give me false information???"

Imran - "I am sorry sir. But that's the information I got from my source. She was supposed to attend the Party of Rohit Bal. I don't know why she is not there"

AAK - "Now do me a favour and get me her house address and this time I don't expect a sloppy work from you."

With this ASAD cut the call. He was waiting for Imran's msg. Just then he saw Nikhat with another girl sitting near bar. He sneaked up to them. Now he could hear them talking.

Girl with Nikhat - "Niks, Zoya kaha hai yaa???? She does it always. How many times I am supposed to put cover on her???"

Nikhat - "Kim, I seriously have no idea where Zoya is. She didn't tell me."

ASAD was sure Nikhat was lying to Kim.

Kim - "But yaar, Yeh uske liye imp hai. She has to attend the parties. She is ruining her career!!!"

To answer Kim, Nikhat turned around and she saw ASAD. Asad was caught eves dropping and he didn't know what to do...

Looking dead into his eye Nikhat spoke "That I don't know but I am sure where ever she is right now she is with the person she loves!!!"

Asad froze at that moment!!! He didn't expect that... Moreover he didn't expect to feel so sad and torned!!! He gave a last look to Nikhat and left the party without looking back.
