When Zoya calls Ayaan "Robert" its spelled with an o like the Anerican name Robert! So many fans think it's Raburt but it's not!

Actually it is Raburt - Zoya purposely pronounces it that way.

P.S - Robert is not an American name. It is just a Christian name and was most definitely used in England before the US.

I take offense to that - are you trying to say that Indians don't pronounce the name Robert as Robert?

Raburt is just a teasing take on the name - why insult an entire country's pronunciation of it?

Actually all the names originated from Europe because these were the earliest set immigrants . Robert has many abbreviations . Rob.. Bob. Bill.. Bobby .. Robby .. Dick and many more. .

Dude...she calls him Rabert because it's a funny take on a villain of yesteryear's movies...the main villain was Lion...his girlfiend was Mona and his right hand man was Rabert...whose name was actually Robert but Lion pronounced it as Rabert...just a funny take on it...nothing else
