It is not true that she does not care about Asad- she was brimming with tears at teh Eid Function...not just thankfulness..also JOY...Najma- she would never have bonded with her...

But she cares...but she chooses to be with her son, because she loves him in spite of his faults...he knows he is weak, but good at heart...and he needs her more than any one else...before Raz and Co. make a proper puppet outta him.
