Ranji...what a topic for a boring Sunday evening.😃
I have only ever fallen for the good guys. The one time I had a fling with someone not so good...it was a rebound.🤢 So yeah, I don't count that one😆.
For me,the heart is always more important than the looks. I was friends with my husband and his other friends for almost 5 months before I started dating him. Yeah I had options😉. He has his anger issues, he has his judgmental days, BUT...on the whole he has a good heart. He can never wish ill for others and will go to any lengths to help others,even strangers.
His parents and brothers mean a lot to him. Sometimes I feel like an outsider when he is with them, but then there are times where he will be my shield and voice without even my asking for it. He will fight for me and my kids with his mother when the need arises and then there will be times he will let me fight my battles.
I am fiercely independent, talkative,extroverted, outgoing,make friends easily,etc. But he is my complete opposite. Being in a household with two daughters, my parents raised me to stand for myself. Whereas, being a family with 3 sons, his parents shielded him and protected him. When it comes to our kids, we more often go with my upbringing coz he sees the benefits of it, but he will never ever say that his parents were wrong. They were just different, and thought differently.
So...you know what is funny, as I am typing this and thinking about his qualities, I realize I am married to a man like AAK😉...just a different face and not emotionally damaged...well slightly, but not to AAK's extent😆
