Wrong name wont make marriage invalid

I know a lot of you think that because zoya will sign nikaahnama as zoya faroqui and not zoya sidique or because her fathers name wont be gaffur siddique nikahnama will become invalid. With whatever knowledge i have about law i can tell you this is not the case

It depends on what is written in her birth certificate and all relevant certificates (passport,green card etc).If in all these legal papers her name is zoya faroqui then that is her legal name and any papers she signs with them wont be legally invalid because she is using her legal name. Same goes for father's name. As long as nikah nama has the same name as her birth certificate ,her passport or any legal paper nikah nama will stay valid.

The only way there nikah will remain invalid is because they didn't say QH willingly it was a misunderstanding but once they sign the nikahnam with their legal names even that will go away. Of course they will not be married by heart but technically and legally they will be married.

In any case this is what my knowledge of law says if any one knows anything different please let me know

Excatly.but what cvs try to show i really dont get it .if marriage invalid then why divorce paper sign.

it' not because she is zoya sidiqui but in the first time he called her zoya farid so it's wrong name that's why even when she sign the marriage paper it stiil invalid because she will sign as zoya farouqui and zoya farid

GhaZia added the divorce papers in the Nikahnama. Only they know about it.

If the typed out name is Zoya Fareed and underneath that on the dotted line the signed name is Zoya Farooqui, then the document is termed invalid.

Well if the name in the nikahnama is zoya fareed then at that moment only zoya will know marriage is invalid since her name is wrong so there is no question of signing it since at that very moment she will relaize that nikah nama is wrong.But if the name in the document is zoya faroqui then whateverr name qazi said during the nikah has no value if name in the nikah nama is zoya faroqui and she signs it as zoya faroqui marriage is valid.But if her name is only zoya fareed she can straight away say qazi dude you got my name worng nikah nama is wrong and invalid so where is the question of signing it but if due to some weird and illogical reason she does sign it then it will never get registered all marriage certificates no matter of which releigion will need to get registered and for that you need to submit all your documents with your real name,So it wont get registered becuase name in the document and papers will be different and then within few days every one will know that nikah nama is worng and cv's wont be able to drag this track for months
