What I don't understand is why Zoya and Ayaan didn't just clarify the matter right there and then with the Qazi? Clearly it was a misunderstanding. Does it even count as a proper marriage? Who knows...but I guess it is enough of a complication to throw a wrench into the wedding plans of AsYa 🤔

Exactly, there were so many ways that they could've gotten out of the mess easily, but they had to resort to being absolutely stupid about it sigh.

Well it isn't completely ruined as of yet, I just fear it will eventually go in that direction at this rate. But oh well, let's wait and see how the audience takes it first!

Yup exactly, the lack of logic entirely in the bringing in of this entire track is what's irking me more than the track itself!

Truly said dear... This is so cliched... It is the favourite track of Ekta Kapoor which she uses in all her daily soaps...

I agree with you, although I haven't watched a lot of indian serials, but it seems to be a trend. One of the main reasons I had stopped watching Pavitra Rishta after Arjun and Ovi got married (I had begun watching when the Arjun Purvi thing started). Even worse when Purvi was pregnant. It totally messed up the whole meaning of the show to begin with. But Qubool Hai is the only show that I have followed from the airing of the first episode and follow religiously just like you. It was different and that's what I loved about it (other than it being the first Muslim indian show). But no matter what I can't bring myself to stop watching it (it's bad).

In my opinion though, they could have had Zoya move into the SM in so many other ways and without making a joke out of the whole institution of marriage. The thing that really gets to me is how they've shown nikkahs differently each time. Najma's Nikkah was the only one that was done right. He asked her three times, and she says Qubool Hai three times. Also had witnesses there and her mother and brother, and Imran his parents. Ayaan and Zoya weren't asked three times, nor did they say Qubool hai three times, just "haan haan", which makes no sense. They didn't even sign anything, nor were any witnesses present.

Well I guess after today's episode they're gonna show that Zoya will live in the house just for namesake or whatever since the nikaah is invalid. Still a load of bullshit though.
