Amrapalli was Ok initially as she did not have more Tanveer scenes and scenes were quite plain.. She was good in first confrontation with Zoya in her room.. I was never against her, but the scene in which she cried while telling Asad about JaNu SR was too OTT..That cry was hilarious.. After that again few scenes , were OK, but then writers turned her into psychotic villain and her scenes were filled with way to much of overacting..
Now, if you are saying every psychotic villain , overacts..Yes they do but till the point you enjoy it, like to watch them... I have seen many psychotic negative character, eg. SRK in dar, Urmila Matondkar in Kaun , it would be insulting if I compare AG with them, but here I am just giving example of psychotic character which are so enjoyable, appreciable..And those psychotic characters were case of mental disprder, and Tanveer is still normal human (shown in show).. May be her character is OTT but she does overacts in most of the scenes lately...Whats the use of such OTT psychotic character, when ppl like to forward scene instead of enjoying it.. Aren't even those scenes meant for enjoying?
I would say, its not only AG fault, AG does overact but director approves those scenes. So together with direcotr, writer and AG , her scenes become height of OTT..
