I am also not able to digest this now.. First thing, In Islam such marriages are just not valid..They are not marriages AT ALL.. So why Zoya will have to honor such nikah, which in fact is not nikah ...And even if it happens, why to ruin 4 lives just because you honor a certain man made ceremony..

For me , love is natural but marriage is man made.. Yeah, I do honor institution of marriage but not at the cost of ruining so many lives, and live entire life lovelessly ... In this case , she is lucky that the guy is Ayaan and not some murderer, rapist.. What if Tanveer would have asked her to get married to Vikram Shukla instead of Ayaan, ??😕

@bold...I love this. If Zoya is truly the modern progressive thinking girl Gul Khan touts her to be, she would also think like this. If only Zoya's progressive ideas were not limited to wearing jeans and living in the now...
