Yes - u r young - but being in college if you can decide a career choice you have a better sense of judgment than high schoolers or impressionable / overprotected girls who romanticize everything and live in protected cocoons shielded away from world by their families to the harsh realities of life.

2 summers ago i worked as a volunteer for Aghani immigrant women who have been through horrible situations - needless to say hearing their stories and interacting with them was really an eye opener for an overprotected pampered girl like me!!

Yes - u r right that people should be more careful of what they say but generally such folks are either nadaan or just troublemakers trying to get attention.

If they are troublemakers i do not care 2 hoots about them 😡(and we have quiet a few on ur FAV topic) but if they are nadaan then i feel sorry for them as they need more guidance from their IF friends - we are a big happy family QH here - at least i can attest for this thread😳🤗

PS: my 1st thought when i had read it last night was thank God all of us girls are mature and understand each other but then this morning i realized the issue is not us on the tread the but fact that it is open to everyone can be wrongly interpretation by others which i do not want for this thread for it is very dear to me 😳

Not to worry. The imp thing is that we are all mature here and talk in a civil manner 😆 And unless we bash anyone or get personal with anyone, this thread is safe. And we are not the sorts to create trouble. 😃
