He didn't know why she asked him to hug her. His hands and arms were a little confused and reluctant to embrace her as they advanced towards her gingerly. But when she crashed into his body with all the passion and intensity that one can imagine, his confused face slowly melted into a pool of soft sentiment and a smile of relief. In that handful of seconds, it did hit him that he loves her - maybe just in this moment , but he loves her. His eyes shone just like ours do when we see a meteor or a constellation up above in the sky - maybe the spark and glint leaves after the meteor is gone. But in those few seconds , we are in love with that meteor. Just like Ayaan was when Humzie crashed into his body.
Strange. You love someone all along and you don't know it. And then, the universe gets upset at your ignorance and sends you rolling into an examination hall.
Its not rocket science that why Humzie asked Ayaan to hug her. Why does Zoe catapult herself to Asad all the time , no matter what? Because Asad is Zoe's home. Similarly, for Humzie, her home is where Ayaan is.
