So Imran isn't as much of a creep as we thought he was. He truly loved Najma and shocker of the century - she broke up with him! I love that that they gave the back story for the college love affair. Poor Najma and poor Imran and of course poor Nikhat. Imran has been emotionally abused and blackmailed into doing his mother's bidding and poor Nikhat is a victim of that. Najma a victim of her upbringing and Imran a victim of kismet. Neha and the actor who plays Imran were fantastic!

Asad and Zoya were their adorable selves and there were some big anvils dropped regarding future tracks but I shall wait and see how it plays out. One thing is certain we are getting very close to the Gaffur reveal.

Now, coming to my favourite scene of the day - Nikhat and Rashid. What beautiful acting by Vaqaur and Archana. I absolutely felt their anguish and pain. Rashid is finally acting like a parent - telling Gaffur off, holding his ground against Shireen and then eventually breaking down and willing to swallow his pride when confronted with his daughter's distraught state.

Special mention to the scriptwriters, Gul and the director today. This was a brilliantly executed episode!

Today's episode was briliant - was almost compelled to make a separate post!

They balanced the humour and drama very well. Please bear with me - I have to drool and gush about Vikram..He was brilliant in that scene - especially when he told Humzie that he mistook chicken for paneer! LOL...

Now to the drama, Imran (Vikram Singh Chauhan) was amazing in that scene with Najma.

Poor Najma, Nikhat and Imran - what a poignant love triangle! I loved the backstory - Najma broke up with Imran! Take a bow, CVs and Gul...

Now to what I consider the scene of the day - Rashid and Nikhat. Boy, they nailed it, didnt they. Archana proved that she is wonderful - the way she captured the grief of Nikhat was heart-rending - she is hurt but at the same time not willing to compromise on her and her familty's self respect any more. And as for Rashid, for the second day in a row, he showed so much spine. I am looking forward to his backstory coming out - for such a man to have cowed down to Razia and Ghafoor and have left Dilshad and his kids, there must have been something major.

Okay - finally - i dont have much to say about the Asad-Zoya scene. Except that the Akdu is now a well trained puppy who immediately says -Waah waah at the raise of an eyebrow from his lady love. Wasnt he the guy who said he was not the type to become a henpecked husband? Not a husband yet but a henpecked lover already! How the mighty fall 😆
