IT was saturday.I was so excited to for the weekend.I had planned every possible thing to enjoy these two days.That day wheather too looked in my favour..Raining since morning. I love rain kinda get romantic and filmy u know..Total nautanki i am .😆oops!!! sorry forgot to say...
Hi its me ...zoya ..ZOYA FAROOKI!!! n this is my story...of one special day.
so here i was saying its raining since morning.So had fun to go college .I have afternoon college so this climate always soothes me😳.Hmm..well it was 12 already so i finished with my packing bag and quickly changed in to salwar kameez and got ready for my college.
😳I know m late ...please how can u even expect me to be on time..LATE LATTIF!! yup thats what i am...never on time ..not even for my boards 😛..anyways thats a different story😆 I will share some other day😃
hmm so it was a rainy day i decided to walk till station instead of catching rick as u know rainy season me rickshaw..its a worst choice ever.
so i wished mom good bye and left for college ..it was beautiful as i thought rain drops falling on me i m in happy mood but than a bus passed near by spoiled everything..the bus drove right over the water that was percolated in between the street which made water splash on me..😡
yuck!!!! i hate such drivers i whispered under my breathe.. i turned around to confirm whether anyone saw this or not ..it was such an embarassing thing happened to me..i was wet as it is thaniks to the bus driver😡
so i thought of using this time for fun and i closed umbrella and walked freely on road getting more wet if possible😆
i was walking on street when i heard a voice from behind..it was a little girl asking help to cross the road.I went close to her and holded her little hands in mine and crossed the road for her.she smiled at me and bided thanks and ran away.I was watching her sweetly as she was so cutely running on empy sidewalk ..but than she stopped and turned behind.She gave me a wink and pointed towatrds something in my hand.i looked down to check what was it and saw something was lying on the floor .i bent down picked that up and looked back at her..she giggled and flew me flying kiss and disappeared in rain.
i opened the wrap thing in my hand and found a small teddy.I took it out gently and got it close neaar my eyes.i saw a note on its bow tie..i read it carefully..
"wait for 5 u have a surprise dear.."
i thought what is it now????😕 what surprise ...who is it??? is it some kinda prank..i looked here and there but found no one close ..so i choose to ignore the note nad the gift and put the note back in the box with teddy and kept it in the side on the street.
i quickly reached college almost washing off the thought abouut the teddy and the girl.
it was lunch time . i went wilth my frinds to fetch something to eat.
when i turned back to my desk i adjusted my self and placed my bag in draw.but no something in it got stucked.
i removed bag and checked in draws by waving my hands inside. i found some soft Stuff.i pulled it out just to get surprise.It was the same teddy with a blue note on it.
i carefully removed the note out and read it.
"see u at 5 dear..be ready for surprise.."
now i was more scared and excited than required..y was someone doing this with me..i thought of discussiong this with my bestie.. She entered classroom.
"humera , look what i got?" i said
"what ?" she almost jumped in excitement
i showed her the teddy and the note to which a broad smile spread her lips.
"awww...its so romantic..who is he ...!!!" she asked me knucking her elbow to me
"how would i know?" i replied confusingly..
she giggled and added" to wait for 5 dear ..waise bhi its 4 almost just an hour and u will know the name.." she smiled at me teasingly
i was not sure for this idea ..but i diont have any option..
it was 4 :55 . soon we would be free .Normally 5 makes me feel so azaaad types and makes me happy shappy and crazy...but today i was nervous.
tring tring...bell rang twice and classed ran out like a mad bull.But i dint join them.I was too scared and nervous to step out.
the whole class was empty.Even humera bid me bye and wished me all the best nd evacuated the room.
when she left i found a letter on hern side.i picked it up and read a name zoya...i curiously opened it and started reading it...
"your surprise is waiting out dear...come out quickly!"
i crushed the paper in my hand as i got the idea that what ever it was even humera was involved in it.
i pouted at the thought and mentally noted down to teach her lesson for sure one day for giving me heart attacks.
i stepped out slowly and carefully..legs shivering mind flooded wityh thoughts. and eyes trying to find something..what even they dont know!
step by step and i was there in the sports ground. But i was all alone there found no one near.
i waited for minute looking in every possible direction around to find something but dint got any..as it is rain was making it difficult to see anything.
i was about to leave when i heard a music..It was a guitar tune. Very unique but sweet tune..not from movie nor even album..it was something i never heard off
my legs walked towards the tune .i was absent mindedly following the music.
till i found someone near the gate.
i stoped there and then..
i tried to figure it out who was it..biut could not register his face as he was back facing me..
i called out
":Excuse me!"
but he dint turn ..i walked more close to him till i could see his face..i gently tapped his shoulder
"excuse me..!" i repeated hesitated
he had buried his face down and his fingers still playing the music .the trail of water flowing from his hair made him more attractive although i could not see his face properly but i new he was a handsome hunk coz of his physique and hair and lot more😳
after repeating thrice when i dint get any response i thought to move away and leave the place.
i had just turned to move when something caught my wrist.
i turned to see ..it was him holding my hand in his with out looking at me.
i gave him a surprise and confuse look but he dint bother to see me once.
he quitely placed his guitar down.and pulled me close to him.i got banged on his chiseled chest.
i looked at him once more and pushed myself away from him.which he dint let me to..instead he faced me.That was the first time i saw his face.his eyes speaks volume ..he was so different and something about him was getting me weak on my knees.
"he turned me around once then twice and next thing i know we both were waving our body in rain with out music well technically cause the tune he was playing were drumming in my hears complementing with the drop of rain sound falling from sky.
we dance for god know how long till he stoped me close to him .his hands resting on my waist and his head burried in my neck.he brushed his lips again my sensitive part of neck.which made me snaked my arms around his waist.
He smiled against my ears and whispered slowly
"liked it!"
i lowered my eyes in shy and nodded my head in yes..
he turned me in a way my back facing his front and he slipped his hand from my waist to my hands holding my palm in his and then slowly enterwining fingers with mine.
he kissed me twice on my top hair over head and quietly left me detangling his hand not before slipping something in my finger .He walked away at a distance..
i was so confused and hurt at the same time..what he was up to .I looked at him .his eyes gazing looks from my face to my hand.
i looked down to my finger and found something sparkling on it.
i touched it. It was a ring. i looked at hin back still ring in my finger.when i heard a ring from my cell phone.
i took phone out of my bag and answered it.
"hey zoya ...congratz dear..." said humera
"congratz??" i asked confused again
"yup ..did you like the surprise..?" i heard ammi saying
"surprise ? what surprise?" i asked again..
"Asad ahmed khan ! dint you meet him yet" ammi and humera said it together
"what ? who?" i was shocked would be an understatement
asad ahmed khan ..he was the man mom was talking about last night ..he hd send me a marriage proposal to which i rejected coz he was a business man. nd i had this conception that business man are boring and irritating ..they dont give time to their ladies..so when mum ask about him my answer was a straight NO.
i am with him...i mean...what????
i heard them giggling on phone.
"beta...aj sari bate discuss karke he ana..."said ammi
"or bhaijaan se kehna ...humera ap dono ka intezaar kar rahi hai.." added humera and disconnected
did she say bhaijaan..?? i thought again.i was lost in thinking with the phone still on my ear when i felt two pair of hand circling me from behind.
"do u still dont want me?" he asked smelling my scent and giving a light peck on my nap
"hmm..." thats all i could manage..
my lips quivering due to cold coz we were in rain since when god knows! and those shock bombs my dear ones were throwing at me.
He smiled at me and asked "i wanna kiss you!"
i dint answer anything coz words would have spoiled the moment.i just leaned a bit and closed my eyes.
he understood and slightly pecked my lips with his rough one.
"Are you still confused?" he asked me teasingly
no i was not this fianl touch answered my every question ..every turnmpoil in me have put to rest.Today for the first time i was not confused but strongly affirmative for what i want.
i smile at him and quickly hanged my hands on his neck and gave him a kiss a love tender and passionate kiss...
he smiled against my lips and me too reflected the same. He touched my finger and the ring on it.
I knew what he meant i steped out a little holded his hand and rested my head on his chest
"ammi must be waiting for us.." i said blushing
"and humera tooo" he added
"humera?" i asked a light jealousy could be smell in my word
"yes dint she tell you she is my sister...she was the one who played as cupid in our story..."
he looked at me and smiled brightly
"a love story..." i added further and buried my self in his arms again...
