Hey guys, so this is the last part of the TS turned into a FS (Four shot) hahaha. Hope you guys enjoy it and the story has lived up to your expectations. Oh and I'm attempting to write in hindi hahaha. So let's see how this goes!

December 19, 2014 (Week 27)

"Here you go Mr. Khan, a picture of your beautiful babies. Everything is checking out normally. Although, I do believe that one twin is not growing as fast as the other. Oh, please, be calm. Breathe." Dr. Patel tried to calm down Mr. Khan who had bulging eyes, "this is normal. HAHA. We call it the sharing syndrome. Just the positioning of one of the twins is more beneficial. But it's fine. Nothing to worry about. And certainly no need to get a panic attack."

Asad tried to forge a smile. This woman was so nonchalant about everything. As Zoya was changing in the bathroom after their latest ultrasound, Asad was filling out the insurance bills and paying the co-pay for the visit.

"Now Mr. Khan a couple things I would like to go over with you. First of all, I think that we should now start considering a birthing plan. I'd recommend the Hart Hospital in Bhopal where I work. I think that..." Dr. Patel began to explain but was cut off by Asad.

"It is the best hospital in Bhopal, specializing in NICU and high risk pregnancy. Even though we are not high risk, anything can happen with twins. I know. That's why I have booked the presidential room already to go." Asad smirked.

"Impressive, but why the presidential suite may I ask?" Dr. Patel inquired.

"Because normal rooms only allow one visitor at a time. And I didn't want to loose my life telling my family they couldn't all visit at once. Meri jaan mujhe bauhut pyari hai Dr. Patel." Asad muttered.

"Haha very well! Any questions for me?"

"Ji haan. Woh, Zoya ko raat neend nahi aati. She's so, I mean to say, that her belly. NOOO. Not that. I mean, YAH ALLAH. Mera matlab hai ki." Asad stammered. He didn't want to outright say it but his wife was huge. So huge in fact that these days he had trouble carrying her properly. He had banned her from using stairs at all because she could no longer see where she was going, even if she did turn side ways. But even so, it was a job for asad carrying his wife as her belly was so big that even he couldn't see his own feet when walking.

"That's normal. She's carrying twins. So it means that she will be doubly uncomfortable. Try some pillows, music, she just needs to find a sweet spot for her to sleep." Dr. Patel smiled. He really did care for his wife.

Zoya waddled out into the lobby of the clinic. Waddled was a correct word. She walked as if there was a pillow in between her legs, both her feet taking small strides in opposite directions. She had abandoned Jeans all together because she was so uncomfortable in them. Nowadays she had taken to wearing some of Asad's sweaters and tights. Asad wasn't complaining, there was an air of cuteness when he saw Zoya stretch out some of his favorite sweaters. For one it meant that she was that tiny compared to him, that even with twins she fit into his sweaters. And for another that he made her confortable, his clothes were comfortable to her, and for that he would let her stretch out his most expensive of sweaters.

Zoya clutched Asad's arm and looked down to the picture of the sonogram he was holding. "Oh how exciting, their first picture! I wonder if they have any dimples chintu. I'll be disappointed if not one of them managed to have the signature dimple on the right cheek." Zoya pouted.

Dr. Patel smiled, "Dimples are usually dominant. And since you and Mr. Khan have a right dimple, there's a good chance that the babies will have your dimples."

Zoya bounced a little and clapped her hands gleefully. "THIS CALLS FOR PANI PURI!" Zoya exclaimed.

"Oh no. Remember what happened the last time you ate pani puri, you puked the entire night!" Asad chided.

Zoya frowned while Dr. Patel laughed, "He is right, this is the home stretch Mrs. Khan, 10 weeks and counting. Just take it easy for the next few weeks. Anyway, I should go, I'll see you guys next year!" Dr. Patel turned to leave.

As Zoya and Asad carefully made their way outside, they heard Dr. Patel call, "Oh and good luck at the birthing classes!"

Asad gritted his teeth. He had almost forgotten about those.

December 26, 2014 (Week 28)

"Chugga chugga chugga, chugga chugga chugga, CHOOO CHOOO" Zoya cried as she played with a toy train.

A friggin' toy train, how is she playing with a toy train? Asad thought incredulously. Well it serves me right for buying her that for Christmas. That's another thing. Why did we celebrate Christmas? It's not like we ever have before. 'It's not like you have ever been married, expecting twins, or had Zoya as your wife before. Christmas is the least new and intrusive thing in your life.' A small voice in his head corrected him.

He looked up from his newspaper and looked at the women in his home. Najma was examining her new bracelet with aami closely. His mother wore a brand new salwaar that he had bought her. Zoya had now moved onto playing with a model rocket. Nikhat and Nuzhat were excitedly talking to Rasid about their new watches. And he could hear ayaan outside examining his new bike. Zoya's necklace lay forgotten in their room as she was more interested in playing with the gifts he had gotten for their would be children. Everyone had received presents from him. But no one had thought to reciprocate he thought wryly.

His eyes stopped at Zoya from across the room. She sat on the floor, both of her legs extended in opposite directions as her belly seemed to never cease growing and wouldn't allow her to fold her legs. He eyes widened in excitement as she drove a model car over her belly making "wrum wrum noises."

Great. So now she is treating our kids as a race track, asad thought amusedly.

He saw Zoya reach into a bag full of cookies nearby and randomly jam one into her mouth. She sat there with bulging eyes and cheek making car noises spitting out crumbs. When she dropped the car traveling along her belly, it fell on her thigh. Unable to see beyond her belly she starched to see where the car had landed. She tried sideways, both ways, over the belly, and rolling over. She finally gave up and looked up at Asad with her eyes in tears, the cookie still in her bulding mouth, wide-eyed.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAH" Asad bellowed out laughing.

The entire family turned to see what exactly had made Asad Ahmed Khan burst out laughing.

He indeed had the best present ever.

January 2, 2015 (Week 29)

"Prasad, yeh lo. Yeh Bhi bag mein rakh do." Asad said checking another thing off the list.

Zoya walked into the room and froze as she saw her husband hand Prasad one of her maternity dresses. "he has completely lost his mind. he has turned his most prized right-hand architect into a friggin' matron." Zoya thought. She decided to have a little fun with her husband and in turned and leaned on the doorframe.

"Let's hear the list one more time Prasad." Asad said pacing his room.

"Baby bag, check sir. Clothes for up to a week, check sir. Baby clothes, check sir. Bottles, check sir. Now all that's left is are blankets, teddybears, bibs. I have also alerted Ms. Mishra. She will be on stand buy if you need anything. I gave her a company card so no limits on money sir. The presidential suite has been checked by Dr. Patel and Dr. Dev and they have both given the green light. The NICU unit is also check out sir. We have also alerted the gift shop who will have everything on stand by for when your family visits, they will be able to have anything from the shop free of charge. Ms. Mishra will take care of the bill later. The florist is also set ready to go. Sunflowers if girls, Orchids for boys. " Prasad concluded.

Asad stopped pacing, "and in the case of -"

"a boy and a girl. Have tulips and lilies delivered. Along with the sunflowers and orchids." Prasad smiled, "Don't worry sir. I have it covered. Mrs. Khan will be very well taken care of. But, I cant help but asking, you are hoping for a boy and a girl, sir?"

Asad stood stiffly but a grin reached his face. "How did you know?"

"You ordered more flowers if that happens. After three years, I've started to learn a little bit about you sir." Prasad smiled.

Asad cleared his throat, "So the blankets. Where did the blankets go?"

"Top right drawer." Zoya called from the doorframe.

She smiled and shook her head. "some things never change." She turned to wobble away silently, throwing up a prayer to allah for such a loving husband.

"DR. PATEL SAID WE SHOULD PACK A BAG AND BE READY TO GO!" asad shouted trying to defend his behavior.

"YEAH BUT SHE DIDN'T TELL YOU TO MICROMANAGE MY LABOR. WANT TO PLAN WHEN MY WATER BREAKS TOO?!" Zoya called back playfully.

Asad turns to Prasad blushing furiously, "Actually Sir, I have heard that you can plan and induce labor on specific dates. It'll make everything more efficient."

"Interesting, tell me more." Asad said rubbing his chin.

January 9, 2015 (Week 30)

Asad hummed to the tune of their radio in their new Volvo minivan.

"Zahra. And, maybe. Aalia." Zoya whispered.

"kya kaha aapne?" Asad asked, turning down the radio. They were on their way back from Dr. Patel's visit. Their babies heartbeats were the strongest they had ever been.

"Oh, nothing. I was just thinking?"

"Kya soch rahi thi aap?"

"Bas, sirf do mahine baki rahe hai."

"Do mahine nahi, one and a half month Zoya." Asad corrected her as he stretched for her hand. He grabbed his wife's hand and kissed it steadying the steering wheel with his other free hand. He held onto Zoya's hand. "So aap kya soch rahi thi about this one and a half month?"

"Who, kuch nahi. Silly hai." Zoya mumbled.

"Hai, knowing you, shaiyad silly hi ho ga. But when has that ever stopped you before?" Asad smiled to himself as he turned to the freeway.

"theek hai, agar app ko jaan na hi hai, to mein kuch, who, naam soch rahi thi." Zoya finished off lamely.

"Yeh to silly baat bilkul nahi. Actually it's quite practical." Asad said thoughtfully. "Toh kya naam soche hai Mrs. Khan ne?"

"Aagar do lakdiya ho to, Zahra aur Aalia." Zoya said. "Zahra means pretty, vibrant, exciting. Aur Aalia for warm, caring towards people. Bilkul meri par jayengi! Plus, A for Asad and Aalia and Z for Zoya and Zahra! Accha idea hai na?"

"Toh who bhi mussibat ki magnet hoon gi yah tailpan ki choti shezaadiya?" Asad laughed.

Zoya pouted. "Okay, Mazak ka time nahi hai Mr. Khan, babies ke naam bauhut important hote hai! Agar koi teda meda naam hum ne de diya toh? Bechare baache par emotional trauma ho sakta hai."

"Just what I need, two mini Zoyas." Asad mumbled.

"Aap ne kuch kaha?"

"Nahi toh."

"Toh batiye, keise lage aap ko yeh naam?" Zoya asked excitedly.

"Bauhut aache hai. Par agar do lakdke ho to?" Asad asked amused.

"I didn't even think about that!" Zoya looked shocked.

"By the way, mujhe aap ka idea bauhut accha lagga. A for Asad and baby 1 and Z for Zoya and baby 2."

"Really?"

"Really. Par aap ne koi bhi boys ke naam nahi soche?"

"Nahi." Zoya said solemly.

"Aap ko Aadi naam pasand hai?"

"Arre wah Chintu, aap ne bhi naam soch rakhe the?"

"Sirf ladko ke. I'm hoping for boys, I desperately need some testosterone in the house." Asad said rather anxiously.

"Hmm, Aadi. Ukska matlab kya hai?"

"Shuruwaat. The beginning. Aur muhjhe," Asad thought carefully while taking a turn. "Zhair. Shining and bright. Aap ki tarah."

Asad pulled to a stop at the Khan villa and unbuckled him and his ever expanding wife.

"Par Mr. Khan," Zoya said as Asad went around the truck, opened the truck, and began to carry his wife inside the house. "What if we get one girl and one boy?"

"Hmm, toh aap boy ka naam choose karengi aur hum girl ka. Fair?" Asad smiled as he entered the house.

Then surprising Asad Zoya pulled at his collar and kissed him. She breathed in his scent as sent her fingers hastily over his hair, ruffling it as she went along. She felt at ease.

Asad's fingers tightend around Zoya's shoulders and around her knees. His oxygen supply was cut off and he was trying very hard to keep his eyes open and maintain balance. As they broke apart, Zoya bit her lower lip, smiling mischievously.

Asad was about to reprimand her for kissing him in such a precarious situation when he heard someone across the room clear their throat.

"Beta, Asad. Mulavi Saab is here, he wanted to thank you for the donation you made last month." Dilshad said mortified at what she had witnessed.

Asad's jaw dropped. There sat his entire family, Ayaan looked like Christmas had come again. Humeria was looking at the Mulavi saab anxiously. Rasid had stood up. Najma had turned red. Nikhat looked down and bit her lip from laughing.

"Mulavi Saab, I didn't kiss her. She kissed me." Asad blurted.

Dilshad's eyes widened futher. Ayaan's smile dropped into a state of shock. Najma's mouth hung slightly. Rashid plumped to the couch and closed his eyes. Humeria placed her hand to the bridge of her nose. Nikhat tried to cover her mouth with her dupatta.

"Arre wah! As if you have never kissed me before Mr. Khan!" Zoya cried. Asad was about to let her have a piece of his mind but stopped when he met her gaze. She was a pregnant woman, full of hormones, and not to be trifled with.

"aab izaat cha ta hoon." The mulavi made to stand up and leave the house past Asad who was still carrying Zoya who was incidentally still clutching his collar.

Asad turned to the rest of his family still bearing an innocent yet caught red handed look on his face.

"Okay, at least I know that my blundering son isn't a bad kisser." Dilshad said breaking the silence. The family roared in laughter.

Asad felt utterly betrayed as Zoya pulled his cheeks.

January 16, 2015 (Week 31)

"Zo, hmm." Asad murmured in his sleep at Zoya tossed yet again. He didn't even dare look at the time. It was probably some obscene hour of the night and he was dead tired.

He heard a sniffle. He bolted upright and turned on the soft lamp that wouldn't irritate Zoya's eyes and saw that Zoya was sitting on the edge of the bed. He got up and went to the other side of the bed and knelt at her feet.

"aap theek hai? Kya ho gaya?" Asad asked patiently.

"Mujhe soona hai Chintu, par mein," Zoya started

"Comfortable nahi hai." Asad finished. He had just about tried everything to make Zoya sleep. It was weird too, each night something was amiss. Countless hours had been spent with him massaging her shoulders into sleepness. Recently a jasmine scent would instantly make her fall asleep, but that stopped working last week when the back aches started. The heating pads were useful, until the back aches stopped and now they had been trying to figure out someway to make Zoya comfortable with sleeping on her back. Sleeping on one side wasn't an option anymore as she would have to keep rotating every few hours and she simply didn't have the strength to.

"Okay, kya try kar na hai? Tv?"

Zoya shook her head.

"Bed time stories?" He was very bad with those to begin with but, they were so boring that they would put her to sleep.

Zoya rolled her eyes.

"Chintu, please kuch karo." Zoya wailed miserably.

Suddenly Dr. Patel's words rang through Asad's brain. He smiled, He lifted Zoya's feet and put it back on the bed and fluffed the pillows around her. Then he left.

Zoya was exhausted all the while confused at her husband's behavior. She did have to admit that he had her intrigued. He had been really creative about his relaxing methods to put her to bed. Never using the same combination of methods and never using them more than twice.

She saw asad return with his guitar. Her face instantly lit up. As Asad nat on the bed next to her, he began tuning his guitar, he faced her and asked, "Any requests Bunty?" Asad shouldn't have been daring, he barely knew that many songs.

"Surprise me. She said."

"How about we try a remix?" Asad said boldly. He only knew a handful of songs, and she had heard them before. But that didn't mean that he couldn't present them in a new way.

Zoya smiled at her loving husband. Throughout this journey they were brought together. Frightened at first they had both risen to the challenge and met the hurdles head on, bringing their relationship to a new level.

Asad began to play the cords to his song (okay, here I will give you the name of each song. Imagine each song being played in an acoustic version – this is a mash up so imagine asad playing soft acoustics and changes from one song to another. I'll also bold so you know where the change is going into the next song.)

"Mashallah." Asad thought as he finished his last song and gazed upon Zoya's resting face. Never had he seen something so drop dead gorgeous. He kissed her forehead gently and set down his guitar. He climbed under the covers next to her and instantly fell asleep; his last thought, "So Dr. Patel was right, music would calm her down."

The sheer curtain blew as the couple finally set off in a land full of dreams, dreams that were quickly becoming a reality.

January 23, 2015 (Week 32)

Asad got out of the car and handed his keys to the valet. She straightened his tuxedo a bit and swipped his left hand over his bands to straighten them. A smirk played on his lips as he walked to the other side of the car to see the valet open the door for his gorgeous wife. She was wearing an emerald floor length gown. The top of the dress was in a Grecian 'U' cut with jewels on the collar. The dress came to a clinch at the waist and spread in rippling wav ending at her feet. Her bump was visible as she stepped of the car with asad's help.

He straightened up and put his left hand behind his back and another outstretched for Zoya to hold onto. He smiled down at his wife who looked simply exhausted and led her into the banquet hall.

Aami and Najma had encouraged the couple to take the day off from the usual hectic-ness and insisted that they go to the banquet held in the honor of the opening of the new orphanage. As asad led zoya into the banquet hall, he could clearly tell that she was tired. Zoya now was extremely uncomfortable at night and barely would sleep at all. Not to mention it was hard for her to change positions, seeing as she can't see where anything beyond her belly is. Even walking was becoming unbearable as he feet were swollen and had become too big for any of her normal shoes. His heart broke for her. If there was any way to share her burden he would, but biologically it was impossible.

He was still proud though; she had put on a brave face and agreed to attend this evening with him. After all, any day now they would become parents and then they wouldn't have enough time to spend with each other.

"Mr. and Mrs. Asad Ahmed Khan." Asad said to the hostess. Instantly he looked down to Zoya. They had only been married for nine months themselves, and never had he had the opportunity to introduce him and Zoya as 'Mr. and Mrs. Khan.'

"Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?" Zoya asked. Everything had been a whirlwind for the both of them. Never had the thought that kids would enter their lives within less than a year, but they had accepted the challenge with full gusto.

"Ha, kyon ki iss se yeh sabith ho ta hai ki aap humari begum hai. Mrs. Asad Ahmed Khan. You belong to me." Asad whispered.

Zoya smiled flashing her dimples. "This way sir, madam." The hostess led the lovely couple to their table. It was dead in the center of the room, as Asad was the head of the project. Asad introduced his wife to his colleagues sat around the table and greeted them. "Gentlemen, this is my wife Zoya Khan, Zoya, this is Mr. and Mrs. Suresh, Mr. and Mrs. Shah, and Mr. and Mrs. Jha." As Asad held out the chair for Zoya and helped her climb into the chair, the emcee for the event began his speech. Asad pulled his chair next to Zoya, both facing the stage and held her hand. She instinctively put her head on his shoulder and asad leaned his chin on the top of her head.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the charity gala. Please enjoy the dinner at the famous Taj hotel tonight as a thank you from UNICEF organization."

As the emcee finished the waiters first brought over the appetizer, bruschetta. Zoya hadn't been able to eat tomatoes her entire pregnancy so she just pushed the food around her plate and rearranged it. Instantly Asad and his colleagues set in a deep discussion about the now completed project.

"Yes, Yes, very glad it is finished because in a few weeks, I'll be leaving for paternity leave." Zoya heard Asad say as the second course arrived, smoked salmon.

Asad was still engaged in a conversation with his colleagues, enjoying their own dinners. Zoya made polite chit-chat with the wives of the table but it was clear the other three were already friends and left Zoya to suffer the dinner in silence.

"Chi, urgh. Mujhe yeh bhi nahi khana." Zoya made a face. She ate around the salmon having rice and the lettuce.

By the time dessert arrived, Asad and his had taken to retelling funny stories about the project. Zoya was now cranky, hungry, and sleepy. But her face instantly lit up as she saw her dessert.

"Yes, I'm glad we went for Khan constructions to help us out in the end," Asad began, "We wouldn't have been able to -"

He was interrupted by a loud gluteal groan, "OHHH" Zoya cried as she tasted her blueberry cheesecake.

Everyone in the room stopped and turned towards Zoya who had her eyes closed and was enjoying her cheesecake. The wives around the table had stopped eating midway, their forks still raised in the air.

"OHHH my goooddd. This is AMAZINGGG." Zoya cried as if she was having an orgasm. Asad recognized that look all to well as his ears turned red.

"MMMHHhmm MMM." Zoya continued to eat. A smile played on Asad's lips as he blinked and continued to stare his wife. He hadn't realized but throughout the evening all of Zoya's least favorite dishes had been served.

"She probably didn't eat a bite." Asad thought. As Zoya licked her lips, asad pushed his cheesecake towards her. Zoya continued to eat, shocking everyone in the room. After she had finished her second cheesecake slice she looked up at Asad and realization dawned upon her. Instant tears welled up in her eyes but asad simply pulled her closer and kissed her on the forehead. "chale?" He asked.

Zoya nodded and stood up. Asad turned to the entire room and addressed everyone in a booming voice, "give our compliments to the chef." The entire room bust into laughter and applause. Asad snaked his arm around Zoya's waist and steered her out the room.

As they waited for the valet to bring them the car, he noticed how embarrassed and sad she was.

~*~

The silence in the car was deafening. Asad wanted to comfort her but he didn't know how.

Ishq woh bala hai?Ishq woh bala hai cooned the radio.

Asad stopped the car abruptly and got out swiftly closing the door behind him. He stood in front of the car with his hands on his hips as if looking for something. Zoya was utterly confused. And quite frankly she was too tired for Chintu's antics. She slowly unbuckled her seat belt. After opening the car door, she twisted on her side so her feet would swing out of the car. Slowly with the support of her seat she pushed her way out of the car and finally stood up.

Asad saw her wobbling as she walked to him. She looked like an old grandma her feet moving in a hobbling fashion. "Chintu, what are you looking for?" Zoya asked

Asad continued to look around.

Jisko chhuaa isne woh jala hai

Dil se hota hai shuru

Dil se hota hai shuru

"CHINTU!" Zoya yelled. "Why did you stop in the middle of the road?"

Her nerves were on edge, from the embarrassing events of the part, she was extra sensitive when Asad continued to ignored.

"I'm looking for something Bunty, something that got lost tonight." Asad said worriedly.

Zoya looked around, "if he lost anything it's his mind." She concluded.

Par kambakht sar pe chadha hai

Kabhi khud se, kabhi khuda se

Kabhi zamaane se lada hai

"I'm just trying to look for -" Asad began

"Look for what?" Zoya asked angrily.

" Aap ki muskuran [smile] doondh raha hoon. Yahi kahi hoon gi. Pata nahi kahan gayi." Asad said with a furrowed brow and a serious face.

Itna hua badnaam phir bhi

Har zubaan pe ada hai

Ishq ki.. saazishein

Ishq ki.. baaziyaan

Haara main khel ke

Do dilon ka juaa

Zoya couldn't help but burst out a giant smile. But it soon vanished recalling the events of the evening.

"Sorry for ignoring you bunty." Asad said.

"Sorry for sounding like I was having an orgasm during dessert." Zoya said quietly.

"Actually, I think everyone enjoyed that. Everyone." Asad laughed and continued, "Hey, aap meri zindagi ho. Meri Adi aur Zahir ki aami ho. Aur more importantly aap meri best friend, begam, sukoon, taaveez, dhadkan, ehsaas, meri duniya hoon. Aur humari duniya ko jase bhi noises bane hai cheesecake kane ki waaqt to who bana sak thi hai. The hell with the rest of the world Bunty, I'm not concerned."

Kyun tune meri fursat ki

Kyun dil mein itni harqat ki

Ishaq mein itni barqat ki

Ye tune kya kiya..

Phiru ab maara maara main

Chaand se bichhda taara main

Dil se itna kyun haara main

Ye tune kya kiya..

"So aap ko sharaam nahi ayi." Zoya asked.

"Sharaam kyon? Maine yeh groans phele bhi sune hai . . . I mean, how else do you think Zahir and Adi came to be?" Asad winked playfully rubbing Zoya's belly.

Zoya hit him on his arm hard. "Zahra and Aalia."

Saari duniya se jeet ke main aaya hoon idhar

Tere aage hi main haara kiya tune kya asar

Main dil ka raaz kehta hoon

Ke jab jab saansein leta hoon

Tera hi naam leta hoon

Ye tune kya kiya

"May I have this dance Mrs. Khan?" Asad asked as he held out his hand.

Zoya listed her hand to put in Asad's. The couple danced to the song, in the middle of an empty road, with the car's emergency lights flashing.

January 30, 2015 (Week 33)

"Okay partners get into the birthing position" Called the instructor. Asad looked over to Zoya who was sitting down with pillows around her. "Last class, all you have to do is get though this last friggin' class and you never have to hear from this obnoxious birthing coach again."

This was the fourth and the last birthing class and it coincided with Dr. Patel's appointment so the couple had woken up at 6am to make it to both events. After the gala last week, Zoya hadn't had time to rest. Even though the house was baby proofed and the nurseries were ready, there was just so much to be done. She would go shopping for clothes, diapers, the works. It wasn't helping that she was literally gaining 4 inches around her belly every week. She knew her babies were growing, she just hoped they would slow down. She already couldn't wash her hands because of a big belly interrupting her mission towards the sink but now she could no longer have dinner at the table, sit on the couch, sit on a desk and work on her laptop, nothing. It was all exhausting.

But it wasn't peaches and sunshine for Asad either. Even though after the opening of the orphanage, he had lightened his load, he was working extra hard to make sure that when the time came for his paternity leave, his company would still manage without him. Zoya had managed to suggest putting in cameras in conference rooms so he can be in meetings via skype. Prasad and Asad had been working tirelessly to ensure all the proper procedures and protocols were in set when Zoya went into labor. The entire thing would be orchestrated. He wouldn't let anything happen to his family.

Asad Sat behind Zoya and rubbed her shoulders. Because they were late they were assigned to sit in the corner of the room, something Asad was thankful for because he could rest his back against it. Carrying Zoya around was becoming more difficult than ever.

He leaned back and massaged her exactly how. Zoya snuggled up to him in between his legs and practiced her breathing exercises.

A few minutes later the instructor called the class back to prepare a farewell speech when she stopped dead in her tracks!

There was Mr. and Mrs Asad Khan asleep in her classroom. He was learned against the wall with his head resting on the corner of the room. Mrs. Khan had leaned back into his arms and rested her head against his chest. Both of their hands were wrapped around Mrs. Khan's belly.

The instructor shook her head and smiled as she turned to address the rest of her class in hushed whispers. Even she knew how much they were preparing for their babies and how tired they had become.

February 6, 2015 (Week 34)

Asad strode into his house after a short day of work (Prasad had insisted that he go home! And he was right, asad had trained him well enough that he had the expertise to run the company for a day without him.) He whistled his famous tune of "Jaane tu yah Jaane na" As he hung up his jacket on the rack he turned to find his family gaping at him. He stopped mid whistle, his lips still formed in the shape of an 'O'

"What?" He asked.

"Zoya beta, why didn't you come into his life sooner?" Rashid asked, placing a hand on her head.

"Kyon ki your beta is an emotionally challenged idiot." Zoya laughed.

"What?" Rashid gasped.

"She's right abbu. Bhaijan dragged out telling his feelings to bhabhijan, then took three attempts at the engagement, a whole bunch of rasams, then three more attempts at marriage, aur phi ja key eh haal ho gaya." Ayaan said as he gestured to all of Asad.

"Ji, aap ne bi kuch kam nahi hai." Humeria hit Ayaan's elbow.

Zoya sat on the plush armchair Asad has especially bought for her to sit on. The couches were too low for her to bend down.

"ha ha hassye. Meri joh haalat hai bas who meh hi jaanta hoon. Es Rakshas ne meri kya haal banadi hai." Asad snapped back. The family laughed.

He walked over to his room while the family conversed and came out looking relaxed in Jeans and a T shirt. He walked towards Zoya and began "So two months from now there is a cricket match that I am taking you guys to. And after that there is an auto show in Mumbai. I've asked Prasad to book the ticket for all of us." Asad said as he sat down on the floor next to Zoya's arm chair and began rubbing her swollen feet with oil.

The entire family was no longer shocked with Asad's caring ways, these kinds of events had become common place since the news of Zoya's announcement at his birthday. But that still didn't stop his family from gazing in silence.

"After that it's mine and Zoya's anniversary. So for that just a small dinner party at home. I'll be cooking. Then I want to take you to Disney World. We will go and have fun. Don't worry I'll be sure to ask Dr. Patel if everything is okay."

"Wow chintu! Dinsey World?" Zoya exclaimed.

"Beta I've always wanted to go to the auto show." Rashid said.

"How exciting bhaijan!" Najma and Nikhut giggled.

"Finally! I needed a vacation. Right Humera begam?" Ayaan joked.

Asad continued to rub Zoya's feet and looked around in confusion. "Where do you think you all are going?"

"Cricket!" Zoya said

"Mumbai!" Dilshad replied

"DISNEY!" Najma exclaimed.

"Oh hellpo. Aap loog kahi nahi ja rahe hai. Mein aap ne dono bete se baat kar raha tha." Asad looked shocked. "Hai allah! I was talking to my kids, you guys thought I meant you?"

"What do you mean you are talking to your kids." Dilshad asked.

Asad patted Zoya's belly covered in his sweater. And just like that realization dawned on the family.

Zoya laughed. She had now found more and more frequently that Asad would talk to her belly more than he would talk to her. Sometimes she woke up in the middle of the night to have find him playing his 'Son's' music or reading them a book or talking to them about work.

The family groaned.

"You think I'd take such a rude family to all these places with me?" Asad asked shocked. "First the incident with maullavi saab and this constant "PICK ON ASAD" tirade. Since all of you are on Zoya's side, ask her to take you all on a holiday. Leave me and my sons alone!"

"What are you going to do if they are girls?"

"What do you mean aabu?"

"Aagar lakiya ho ge to yeh car show?"

"Then my girls will still accompany me. I will never part with them for a single day. Aur kya ho ga? Who cars ke bare mein seekh bi jayengi."

"Asad, they'll be 2 months old." Dilshad reminded him.

"Then I'll teach them again." Asad smiled affectionately.

"Okay bhabhijan, I'm convinced. Fighting with you all this time. Saving you from the goons. You have officially depleted all my bhaijan's brain cells." Ayaan called.

"For someone so accomplished, you sure are a bit clueless Asad." Rashid laughed.

"And he called our Zingo Hotties Club stupid!" Humeria chided.

"Fikar mat karo, humara Illuminati trifecta woh club se behetar ho ga. Jahapannah aur un ke do shezades. Aur mein en logo ki tarah itna mean bhi kabhi hoon ga aap ke saath. Vadah hai." Asad smiled. He kissed his wife's belly, placed his head on her lap and fell asleep as she ruffled and patted his head. He completed the trifecta of father and his two kids.

Febuary 13, 2015 (Week 35)

SMASH

Zoya threw another vase at the wall as Asad dodged. He was silently thankful that Aami and Najma had decided to leave the couple alone for the weekend for their first valentines day as a married couple.

Tears streamed down her face as she slumped to her bed. Asad had come home with flowers and chocolates to an upset zoya. She had thrown a tantrum and smashed the contents of their room, taking very precise aims at his head. She has some arm, he thought.

He sincerely hoped that this was another one of those rare mood swings that pregnant people went through. Frankly he just wanted her safe, their babies could come any day now. Why was she upset? Shouldn't she be excited?

As he carefully approached her, he handed her one of the flowers he had managed to save from the original bouquet. She had instantly grabbed it and hit him with it, showering petals everywhere.

She looked at the hurt flower and cried harder. And surprisingly, Asad started crying too.

They both just sat on the bed and cried, not looking at each other, or saying a word. They looked like little children.

After a while the sobs subsided.

Asad wiped his tears and looked at his wife with a hurt expression.

"Oh chintu! I'm sorry I over reacted. Just you promised me valentines day after getting married, you would take me to paris. But now with THIS (she gestured at her belly) I can't go anywhere!" Zoya threatened to cry again.

"But." Asad began.

"I just don't want to be this fat anymore. I just want this to stop! I want paris." ZOya cried.

Asad stood up face palmed. "ZOYA JUST SHUT UP. YOU KNOW WHAT. THIS ENTIRE PREGNANCY IVE BEEN DANCING AROUND YOU LIKE A FUC*ING MONKEY. AND I AM TIRED OF IT. YOU AND YOUR EMOTIONAL TANTRUMS. IF YOU WOULD HAVE BOTHERED TO NOTICE THEN YOU WOULD HAVE REALIZED THAT I HAVE HAD PRASAD DECORATE OUR BACKYARD TO RESEMBLE PARIS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. I HAVE HAD MY OFFICE STAFF. OFFICE! STAFF! WORK AROUND TO GIVE YOU THE BEST VALENTINES DAY POSSIBLE! WHAT CAN I DO MORE. WHAT?!" Asad heaved.

Zoya was shocked. And now she began to cry for a different reason. Asad put his hand to the bridge of his nose. Now he had done it.

With sudden inspiration, he pulled out his baby picture book that he had once chased her to retrieve and opened up to a picture of him wearing shorts and a hat too big for him and knelt down to lift zoya's face. The minute she saw the picture her sobs stopped. She flipped through the book and began to laugh.

He wiped her tears and for the next hour they sat exchanging stories about their childhood.

"I've been really horrible haven't I?"

"the worst."

"I'm sorry."

"No you are not."

"No but you should be."

"I am."

"Chintu?"

"Yes Bunty?"

"what if the kids start calling me Bunty instead of Aami?" Zoya looked up at Asad wide eyed.

The couple split into fits of laughter. Asad led Zoya out to the back yard where it was decorated similar to the fashion the night he tried to propose to her. Zoya smiled in her tights and Asad's Express sweater and eyes the food longingly. "But, it's not valentines day!" Zoya asked.

"Oh, this is just part one baby, see what I have planned for you tomorrow!" Asad threatened. He had made plans to bring Zoya home made pizza for breakfast in bed again, take her to see Salman Khan's new movie after, then a romantic dinner or a yacht under the stars where he would get down on one knee and gift her another diamond ring with their initials engraved as well as an additional AK and ZK for their unborn children. He would recreate how he wooed his wife.
