Thanx, Sangeeta. It was understood right from the begining that aapi and jeeju wouldn't play much role, unless they decided to shift Z to NY..and my expectation from the story has always been that Z will stay in India...so I guess I am not disappointed..no wonder I even forgot the character.😉

Ayan!

How can U call him selfish? He has been immature and a typical teenager till now- exactly as Mamujaan described him- careless and happy- go- lucky.

He was dependent on Bhaijaan for everything until H went missing...from then on, he does not run to bhaijan for everything- he has learned to own up to his mistakes and make amends for it.

Yes, he has been lesas than perfect- bribing the police and all- but that was a SELFLESS act done for his Ammi and his siters- BELIEVING RASHID WAS INNOCENT- as did Dilshad aunty- and he wilingly bore the burden of having sold his soul to teh devil.

There might be umpteen no: of girls who'd want to marry him- Y should he settle for any one? And why can't he have Humeira as simply the best friend he always had? He never refused marriage after the deal- he was just STALLING it, because Raziya irritated the HELL out of him...he was trying to show dissent at being treated like A SLAVE- any one'd.

I disagree when U say he thinks only about himself.

1. He thought about his Ammi and sisters when he rescued Rashid.👏

2. He thought about Nikhat's future when he saw Haseena taking her for a ride...as with IMran- inviting his wrath. 👏

3. He along with his sisters went and stood behind Dilshad Aunty without any malice, when Rashid called them...he is not selfish. 👏

4. He took the first step towards the apology, agree, he had to, since he was the one who had fought with Asad.👏

This is what I feel:😳
NOne of these characters are to be hated, even if U feel like calling GUl a feminist. She has poured a lot of thought into each of them..and they all HAVE LOVABLE TRAITS...it is when we fail to see them, that Gul comes up with statements like' because I want to'- she expects us to look at the whites and Greys OBJECTIVELY. Raziya and Tanveer are the ONLY real villains who have to be hated.😉 I think every other character, including Gaffur will be redeemed in the end.😊

wow this is an amazing analysis...i've never thought about all the points yo ve putforth..i considered him to be the most selfish person in this show..but yo proved me wrong..thanks for that😳but one cannot deny the fact that he is a moron, that guy is still unaware of asad's love fr zoya and foolishly assumed that asad slept with tanveer🤢maybe cvs are planning something behind this behaviour😆

I am surprised U came across this..😳 and very glad...

Please try to look at the Whites and Greys objectively...😊

Agree with moron.😳😆

@ Chicksoup..

Ayaan was defintely a very self centered character when the show started. Gradually, we have seen a change in him where he has started taking some responsibilities and has become less self centered

I never said I hate any character...each character in this serial is unique and very real. That's what attracts me to this show...no character is black or white; they all have grey shades but there is no doubt that the women have been portrayed as being emotionally stronger than the men in this show. That's probably Gul's influence on the story...I am fine with that as I love stronger women characters :)

Sangeeta,

Self centered...I wouldn't call him exactly that- quite early on itself he appreciated how Asad had intervened in Nikhat's matter and had vowed that he'd make necessary sacrifices for bhaijaan when the time comes...it was just that he was a typical cool headed young fellow like all boys of his age.

Ankie,

The man will think... when his BLINDERS HAVE BEEN REMOVED...You have to allow at leastthat much in a story...he has to grow...he is not AT THE PINNACLE OF HIS CHARACTER...yet😉

Wanted to add:

Sangeeta:

The women are MOSTLY emotionally stronger when they have to go thru so much in life...we tend to turn more towards God, while the men try to find the answer within themselves...and never find it...the answer is TURN TO GOD...and say, QUBOOL HAI...to God...to whatever trials he throws your way.😊
