This is the same Indian audience who thrive on the leads getting married three/four times, the female lead being tortured to the max extent, a spineless male lead...

So really forgive me if I don't want to put my trust on a show which is dependent on the mood swings of an audience used to mediocrity.

My thoughts exactly. One look at the shows that are at the top of the TRP list is enough to tell you the kind of audience Gul has to cater to. International viewers notwithstanding, they can find a new show or watch re-runs.

Wonderful post Sruthi..I guess tables might turn as far as Rashid is concerned?😕 Ayaan was for Rashid and Asad against him & hence the whole sautela saga played out..Now will a time come when Asad understands his dad and Ayaan for some reason goes against him and hence we again have a clash?😆 The fact that Rashid is supposedly responsible for Zoy's mom's death might cause a lot of conflict..Asad might realize by then that his dad has been trapped but Zoya might be dead against Rashid cos the issue is concerning her mom? Good post but I disagree with this line 'Ayaan...the younger of the two...the more self centered, impulsive and uncaring of the two' - They way I see it is Asad ...the elder of the two...the more self centered, impulsive and uncaring of the two.

Ayaan is far more sensitive and caring about other people's feelings than Asad. Asad usually does what he wants regardless of who it hurts.

If I was in Zoya's position I'd pick my father over Asad any day, bear in mind she doesn't know her father is evil, after all what reason has Asad given her to pick him?

you know the saying once bitten twice shy. Forgive me but I have trust issues with her
