Yes - thats why i want ASYA dating period so Zoe can stand up for Najma's right for Asad will definitely have double standards where sister going to dates is concerned - he wouldn't even let her go to lounge alone as it was after 8šŸ˜† or wear jeans🤣

Fitting post for a lovely epi! I'm sure all the viewers who've been clamouring for more Muslim 'flavour' in QH must be satisfied with today's epi.
For me the highlight of today's epi was the namaaz scene with Asad, Ayaan and Rashid. It's rare that you see them all in the same place at the same time, especially in peaceful circumstances. Loved the emotional hug between the brothers. And then the wealth of concealed emotion accompanying the almost formal greeting between father and son. Could see Rashid's yearning to hug his son and give him comfort, and could see Asad's tamped down need covered up by overt rejection of his father.
As you say a really profound, layered scene.

Thanks for the beautiful post

Thoroughly enjoyed all the Ramzaan related rituals today

Just wish Rashid had opened his mouth and told his son to follow his heart and not commit the mistake he had committed years ago...he still didn't hear his son's cry for help?

Loved Zoya and Asad's dua. While Asad's dua came true after Ajmer, Zoya's dua shall come true at the end of Ramzaan as Allah will support the truth.

Dilshaad-Zoya scene was heart wrenching although it would make for a very dysfunctional arrangement if Asad does end up marrying Tanveer (we know that won't happen) and Zoya stays back.

Zoya can never say NO to Dilshaad. The reason Dilshaad empathizes with Zoya more than Asad is because she sees herself in Zoya. There are some people criticizing Dilshaad's care for Zoya over Asad, but they need to think about what these characters are going through. Asad will always be her son but she cannot support him in each of his decisions...and here she thinks he is obviously wrong. I don't know how the pregnancy news will change her dynamics with Tanveer. I assume she will become a grandmother first and soften her stance on Tanveer.

Zoya, the poor girl is trapped between her promise to Tanveer and her quest to save her love from destruction...let's see how creatively she handles this situation

I skipped today because as much as I would love to see the Muslim rituals you are mentioning I just could bear to see a smiling tanveer Too many bad feelings inside.

great post..

as a muslim,,, I really like how the cv's have portrayed the holy month of Ramadan...so that non muslims alike kind understand the purpose of the fasting and the holy month..it is to be in the oneness of allah tallah...
as a muslim ,, this is the first time that im seeing Ramadan portrayed on tv,, and you're right,,, that is a totally spiritual feeling about the scenes depicted in todays episode...
im glad that others are appreciated of my religion and the meaning s of certain rituals that are performed during the month...
