A lot has been said on the father son scene yesterday, on the amazing acting of both the actors and on Asad's total despair. We all saw Rashid's helplessness and understanding of his son pain as he knew exactly what his son was going through and how much of a low point in his life Asad must be to go to his father for advice.
Initially i had been pissed as i had made such grand predictions of all Rashid would say or do for Asad and the man never spoke a single word! But that's the beauty of QH - all these emotional scenes where the story does not move ahead but makes you think.
The main reason I think the CVs did not have any lines for Rashid is that without him realizing it, he is again at a cross road that he was 17yrs ago where due to his action one family will be happy (Dilshad's) and another one in despair (Shireens's). He knows about the knife and Zoya's doubts so if he tries to help Asad in anyway - i.e exposing who is Tannu's actual baby daddy then he is ruining his daughters life as its her love, her fiancee who is the father - is this destiny giving Rashid a chance to rectify the wrong he did to Asad 17yrs ago by choosing his other family? Or is that Karma biting Shireen in the rear end?
I love such scenes rather than the direct scenes as they are open to interpretation so please let me know ur thoughts.
IMO CVs wont show Rashid doing anything so that no one in the future can question if he loves one child more than the other.
