What reason will Asad give?

So Asad drags Zoya away and tells her he can't go through with the nikaah right? All that is fine, but what I'm really wondering about is what reason he's going to give her.

I hope he tells her the truth about Tanveer being pregnant and shit, rather than come up with some other dumb reason to hide Tanveer's pregnancy and in the process break Zoya's heart again.

And if he does still choose to hide the real reason, Zoya ought to pack her bags and go back to NY man. Enough of this crap.

i think that asad will tell the truth as he doesnt need to hide.acc to him zoya already know abt his consummation with tanveer (which actually didnt happen).and also we know that zoya will slap tannu.

I also hope he tells her the truth. I think he will. The last time Zoya was hurt more by the idea of truth. The fact that he seemed to promise to be hers all his life and supposedly went off with Tanveer was what seemed to hurt her more in his eyes. That's why she was shouting at him about the "truth," and how he has no relation to it. (Basing it on Tanveer's gande iraade).

True!! It is the most overused track in all the serials though, I do hope they don't choose this route.

He now knows that Zoya trusted him above all and it would be foolish of him to lie to her after all they've both been through to get where they are. But of course he won't wanna break her heart.

However, I've seen his character. Even after he thought he had done the deed with Tanveer he went and faced everyone at the hall. He didn't run away from what he did. And now also I don't think he will lie to her.

I'm still not sure about him calling off the wedding. I think he'll start to go in that direction, and maybe Zoya (knowing it's not his baby) will try to knock some sense into him. Or maybe go along with it and FOR ONCE pretend to be heartbroken to give Tanveer the illusion (once again 😡) that she's won so she can catch her off guard once and for all.

The bolded part, very well said!! Yeah you're right, he always faces the problem rather than hide from it. In fact, he'd even given this very advice to Ayaan when he set Imran's car on fire. That he should own up and face the music rather than hide. I do hope they stick to his character this time as well, like you said (:
